- Suit: This is a freaking nightmare!
- Mike Scarlatti: I understand, sir. Getting shot...
- Suit: How long is it going to - to take you to nail this guy?
- Mike Scarlatti: ...if you can tell us...
- Suit: I need to get my men in there.
- Sam Braddock: Sir! We're asking you again, are you sure you can't recall any detail, where the shots came from?
- Suit: I didn't see anyone, all right? Why don't you get in there and put my tax dollars to work?
- Ed Lane: [to Sam] It doesn't get any easier. We don't get to win every time. You got to be at peace with who you are to get through that. There's a bunch of guys I know - they're cops, they're military guys - we meet up and we talk, and we help each other keep it together. Greg and I are going Friday night. You should come.
- Demolition Expert: You're going to need more than dynamite.
- Suit: Whatever. Just get it for next week.
- Demolition Expert: My guys can't do it next week.
- Suit: Then, get new guys.
- Demolition Expert: I can't get new guys. No one wants this job.
- Suit: Okay. I-I get it. I hear you. A building like this - a heritage building - so beige, so square and... so much better when my big glass tower is growing right out of the middle.
- Ed Lane: You get a visual on the shooter?
- Demolition Expert: No, but we weren't looking around; we got out of there fast.
- Ed Lane: You get a sense of what direction the shots came from?
- Demolition Expert: No, the place is huge. A lot of concrete, echoes. And like I said...
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: You were getting shot at. You weren't thinking detail. I get it.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [the team enters an arena building where shots were fired] April 2, 1957. You know who played here? Memphis Flash.
- Ed Lane: Boss, focus.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: The King!
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [hears gunfire on radio] Eddie, talk to me.
- Ed Lane: I'm good! Wordy?
- Kevin 'Wordy' Wordsworth: Uh-huh. No harm!
- Sam Braddock: That's live fire.
- Ed Lane: We got an active shooter. He's here.
- Jules Callaghan: [on radio] Sarge, the owner of the rifle...
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Yeah, Jules. What?
- Jules Callaghan: He was at home.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Then who's firing on my team?
- Jules Callaghan: It's his hunting rifle. He says someone must have stolen it. Claims to not know that it was missing.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: And you believe him?
- Jules Callaghan: Ex-hockey player, hockey coach. His rifle goes missing?
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: You know what we call that in the police business?
- Jules Callaghan: Hinky?
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Hinky! Interrogate him.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [after Ed finds a secret door - whispering] Down the rabbit hole.
- Ed Lane: Spike?
- Mike Scarlatti: No rabbit hole on the floor plans.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [after Sam is hit with phosphorous] Who gets their hands on phosphorous?
- Mike Scarlatti: A lot of stuff you can get in the black market, but white phosphorous?
- Sam Braddock: Afghanistan, leftovers from the war with the Russians.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: So this guy is military.
- Mike Scarlatti: [examining Sam's arm] Didn't break the skin. You're gonna be okay.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: And if it had?
- Mike Scarlatti: It would have gone in the bloodstream - it would have damaged his organs.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Son of a bitch.
- Jules Callaghan: Winnie cross-referenced recent vets with criminal records. I have 37 names.
- Ed Lane: We need a shorter short list.
- Sam Braddock: [on phone with subject - regarding hockey] What position did you play?
- Darren Kovacs: All of them.
- Sam Braddock: Really?
- Darren Kovacs: Oh, coach made us cross-train. Had to think each position, cover for anyone.
- Sam Braddock: Sounds like my unit.
- Sam Braddock: This is something we can work through. You just have to... you just have to trust that we can get through this, okay?
- Darren Kovacs: [holding Spike hostage] I'm a good soldier and I need you to know that.
- SIU Blair Kowalski: No talking to witness officers until you've made a statement.
- Ed Lane: I heard you the first time. Sam!
- Sam Braddock: You heard the man. Don't talk to witness officers!
- Ed Lane: Sam, you got to listen to me.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Where you going, Sam?
- Sam Braddock: [holding up his bloody arms] I'm going to shower and go home.
- Ed Lane: We're not done here.
- Sam Braddock: Well, maybe I am.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: We got to debrief.
- Sam Braddock: I got nothing to say.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: That's not an option. Get in there...
- [grabs Sam and shoves him towards the door]
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Now!
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: We gave him the upper hand because we trusted him.
- Sam Braddock: No, I trusted him. You killed him.
- Sam Braddock: He wasn't going to hurt me.
- Ed Lane: We couldn't take that chance, Sam.
- Sam Braddock: You've never taken that chance? I've seen you do it!
- Mike Scarlatti: He's got a point. You've done it, I've done it, but the question is, why'd you do it? For Darren or for Ben? Maybe you wanted a second chance to save your friend.
- Sam Braddock: When I left the field and I joined the SRU, I didn't want to be a point-and-shoot guy. I didn't want to take people out from a mile away. I wanted to... save people. You know, up close. And the one guy I should have been able to reach... I mean, the one guy... I couldn't. I wasn't objective. I put my team at risk. I don't belong here.
- Charlie: Wow. Maybe he found the bunker.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: The bunker?
- Charlie: Daniel Godwin's secret apartment. I only saw it once. I mean the man liked his privacy.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Can you show us where it is?
- Charlie: Well, no. Hey, not on a map. Like I said, I only saw it once and that was... Wow, Toronto vs Pittsburgh, 87.
- Mike Scarlatti: Let me guess, we lost?
