Behind The Music meets Spinal Tap
sadchild706 January 2013
Keepin' On is an enjoyable documentary about a band I love: The Adam Ezra Group. The band is fun to watch, the music is great and the footage is refreshingly candid.

If you're a fan of the band, this is a must-see. If you don't know who they are, you can still enjoy a good combination of serious moments, learning about what it's like to be in a band (studio, back stage, on the road, interacting with fans) and humorous antics/silly moments.

Criticisms include that the volume tends to jump all over the place, and the progression of footage doesn't feel cohesive. The quality of some footage is good, some is of fair quality and a little bit of it is poorly done (for example, interviewing the drummer outdoors on a windy day so the noise of the wind makes it hard to understand him).
