A really horrible shot somehow gets himself hired as an assassin - I think - that part is kind of muddy. He runs into David Carradine who is playing some kind of lawman who seems to already know who this ineffective killer is. But David Carradine doesn't seem to worried - I guess because the sharpshooter couldn't hit anything even if he wanted to; as a matter of fact, the sharpshooter would be better of just throwing bullets at his targets.... or just throwing that ridiculous rifle - may use it as a club or something.
There is a scene shoehorned in between some guy who is another lawman (maybe a deputy or something) and he tries to have some deep conversation with David Carradine. And, um, some weird guy playing a preacher (was that this film?).
