After making Baby Oopsie, Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls, and Baby Oopsie 3: Burn Baby Burn, which were spin-offs that focused on one character from Full Moon’s Demonic Toys franchise, writer/director William Butler moved on to a different Demonic Toys spin-off: Demonic Toys: Jack Attack. The movie was released through the Full Moon Features streaming service at the start of September, and now Full Moon has announced that Blu-ray and DVD copies are available!
Blu-ray copies of Demonic Toys: Jack Attack can be purchased at This Link, and DVD copies are available Here.
Jack Attack is a jack-in-the-box toy that has a scary clown face and nasty teeth, and is able to reach out of his box with his long, snake-like body. This evil character previously appeared in Demonic Toys, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys, Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys, and Demonic Toys 2: Personal Demons (which was also...

I remember enjoying the original 1992 Demonic Toys and its low-budget horror charm, and while easily forgettable there was plenty to enjoy about the sequels too. But as the last one was released in 2010, it came as a surprise when I heard a new movie was coming out in 2023. Perhaps I shouldn’t have been completely surprised because Full Moon Features have been keeping the franchise alive the last couple of years with comics and two TV series – which I need to get around to checking out!
Jack Attack – the fifth movie in the Demonic Toys franchise – shows a young orphaned mute girl who has been gifted a Jack in the Box from the Demonic Toys but she soon discovers this is no good thing.
At less than an hour long, I think it only just reaches...

Plot: After her foster mother is killed by the demonic jack-in-the-box Jack Attack, 16-year-old Lily is placed with another family… and then Jack Attack returns to wipe them out as well.
Review: Back in 1992, Full Moon introduced horror fans to the Demonic Toys. Four tiny terrors that look like something you’d find in a kid’s playroom, but are actually homicidal servants to demonic masters. There was Jack Attack, a clown jack-in-the-box with a maniacal laugh, sharp teeth, and a tentacle tail; Grizzly Teddy, a vicious teddy bear; Mister Static, a robot that rolls on tank treads and fires deadly lazers from its gun arms; and mouthy baby doll Baby Oopsie. The Demonic Toys never gained as much popularity as the puppets from Full Moon’s Puppet Master series, but they did get a franchise of their own. They battled a miniature Tim Thomerson in Dollman vs. Demonic Toys...

Most of writer/director Bruce Wemple’s films fall into one of two categories. There are films about cryptids like Dawn of the Beast and The Retreat. And there are films dealing with abnormalities with time such as The Tomorrow Job and Lake Artifact.
Island Escape seems to be an attempt to bring the two themes together with this story of an accident at a research base on the Isle of Gran Manan. We know something is really wrong as the prologue shows a helicopter pilot being killed by what appears to be a bestial version of himself who then tries to fly off in the chopper only to have it explode in mid-air.
Meanwhile, after a barfight, Chase is approached by Alison who claims...

Earlier this year, Full Moon founder Charles Band announced that the Demonic Toys franchise would be continuing with another spin-off film that focuses on just one of the evil toys. After making Baby Oopsie, Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls, and Baby Oopsie 3: Burn Baby Burn, writer/director William Butler moved on to a different Demonic Toys spin-off: Demonic Toys: Jack Attack. That movie is now in post-production, and in the new episode of his Full Moon Universe YouTube series, Band has shared the trailer! You can check it out in the embed at the bottom of this article.
We don’t have a plot synopsis for Demonic Toys: Jack Attack at this time, but Band has said that “It’s gonna be another Billy Butler mad movie, sparing no expense with death and weirdness and teeth and biting.” That said, the newly released trailer does give an idea of the story being told.

The Full Moon library also includes films like The Tourist Trap, Castle Freak, Baby Oopsie, Evil Bong, and SubSpecies. In addition to the company’s back catalog, Amp will also represent Full Moon’s latest productions, starting with Aimee: The Visitor. The pic follows a brilliant but misanthropic computer hacker who unlocks an incredibly advanced Artificial Intelligence program that appears in the form of a beautiful and seductive woman.
The slate also includes The Primevals, directed by Academy Award-winning SFX vet David Allen. The film debuted last week at Fantasia and has been 30 years in the making. Allen shot the film in 1994. He continued to tinker...

Yesterday, we shared the news that Full Moon’s Puppet Master franchise will continue with another solo puppet entry (like 2020’s Blade: The Iron Cross and last year’s Puppet Master: Doktor Death), Puppet Master: Furnace Leech Woman. And that’s not the only Full Moon franchise that’s about to get a new sequel. The Demonic Toys series is also continuing with movies that focus on just one of the evil toys at a time, and after making Baby Oopsie, Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls, and Baby Oopsie 3: Burn Baby Burn, writer/director William Butler is now diving into a different Demonic Toys spin-off: Demonic Toys: Jack Attack.

I was eight years old when I saw a magazine ad for the Puppet Master action figure series. From that moment, that franchise and its parent studio, Full Moon, plus those figures and Full Moon Toys became my biggest childhood obsessions. I was twelve when Full Moon Toys went under. As the independent studio floundered in 2000, its accompanying toy division was at the height of its success, with products being distributed to more retailers than ever, having just announced an incredible slate of projects that would seemingly never see the light of day.
While Full Moon recovered as a studio, that toy division never did. Even though I was in middle school and trying to phase out of that kind of collecting, it hit me hard when all of those things were cancelled. When Full Moon Toys, headed by Rick Phares, disappeared, there were many things that were ready to...
