Need to catch up? Check out last week’s Law & Order: Svu recap here.
A terrible guy gets some less terrible (but still pretty morally gross) women to sleep with him by lying to them: Is it rape? As this week’s Law & Order: Svu explores, the answer depends on whom you ask.
Read on for the highlights of “Imposter.”
Talk About An Entrance Exam | Moments after sending her husband and teenage son on a college visit — “Oh, and don’t forget to mention your three-week seminar in Nairobi!” — a rich Manhattan housewife gets in touch with her lover and meets him for a quickie.

Comic Book Reviews: DC Comics Round Up Week 09-07-2016
DC Comics continues having some soft retcons in their Rebirth line up. This time around Cyborg is the center of attention, getting a new creative team and focus. Does it work? Will this be the time for Cyborg to pick up steam with a potential film still looming in the distance? Read on to find out!
Aquaman #6
Story: Dan Abnett Art: Andrew Hennessey, Brad Walker Colors: Gabe Eltaeb
Review: Did someone not inform Dan Abnett this isn’t the same Clark that was introduced when The New 52 first started! This Superman seems very familiar with Arthur, so much so Arthur has no problem airing some of his more insecure issues with Big Blue. The exchange was awkward, and full of weird contradictions that just didn’t make sense for the characters. Superman says he’s not a puppet and he came to talk things out,...

Outcast #11
Written by Robert Kirkman
Art by Paul Azaceta
Colors by Elizabeth Breitweiser
Published by Image Comics
Kyle Barnes hasn’t been very forthcoming about why he and Allison got a divorce. In past issues, Kyle says he hit Allison. In Outcast #11, Kyle says that Allison may have done something to spook their daughter Amber, but this is another mystery that Robert Kirkman is keeping wrapped. It’s these looks into the life of Kyle that are what’s most interesting and rewarding about Outcast. Sure, the ghostly aspects of the series are exciting, but the more human oriented horror about Kyle’s past is what keeps the series fresh. It would be easy for Outcast to tell the same exorcism story over and over again and get boring, but that’s not how this series works.
Outcast #11 starts off with Reverend Anderson and Sidney’s confrontation from the last issue.

Are you ready for a new season of Face Off already?
News
Speaking to the TCA, PBS President Paula Kerger was asked about the delay between the debut of Downton Abbey in the UK and their debut on PBS. Unfortunately, Kerger replied that January seems like a good time for the show. In other words, U.S. fans should expect to spend more time avoiding spoilers.
My first reaction to reading TMZ's report that Ann Romney turned down Dancing with the Stars was a hostile eye roll, but after a little thought I'm a little sad we won't get to see what kind of Saturday Night Live gold Kate McKinnon could turn that into.
Is an ad boasting "Enough episodes of Glee to make you question your sexuality" homophobic? Jezebel isn't sure. Honestly, it gave me a chuckle but Glee is its own universe when it comes to determining context.

Kurt here. Considering the overall deficit of good roles for great black actresses (an issue to which this site is no stranger), moviegoers really can't be too hard on Nicole Beharie for offering them such rare and infrequent peeks at her remarkable talent. Still, watching those peeks (and they're watchable indeed), it's easy to send "grrrs" in this petite, 26-year-old beauty's direction, as she's thus far only appeared in five movies, two of them not even on the big screen. Why must she deprive us so? Her phone has to at least be ringing a little bit, and it can't just be about her selectivity, as the titles she's appeared in, on the whole, aren't exactly of the street-cred variety. So, what, then, has she been doing?
Quite a lot, as it turns out. My first exposure to Beharie was in early 2009, in a little film called American Violet, which...
