This was cute. I appreciated that the characters weren't as abrasive as they were in the book. It got obnoxious after a while. The casting wasn't completely perfect, but I loved India as Liz. She's a great actress and endeared Liz more to me then in the book. I didn't care for the added drama, but overall the move flowed well and ended well. Great job Passionflix.

A good enough addition to Passioflix

This little flick deserves a 5 out of 10. I've never read the book, but there are plenty of likeable characters to carry you through the film. Sadly, the lead Claire was probably one of the less likable characters in the movie. The casting of Clair's best friend Liz was on-point, but Carter's friend Drew should've been taken out of the movie or rewritten completely. I couldn't tell if it's because the actor who played him was so bad or just that this character was so cliched that it was hard to watch everytime he showed up in the movie.
Claire, the obvious strong woman that she is, is neatly complemented by the beta-ish Carter. I suppose some people might find issues with that but opposites do attract, and not all women dream of getting down and dirty with those alpha-type, chauvinistic males.
My only other beef with the movie is the fact that after awhile, the sex seems to get in the way of the storytelling. Granted both leads are easy on the eye (with and without their clothes on), but with a book an author can take her time to explore the nuances of the characters, and when everything is condensed down to 90 minutes, there is only so much sex you can have before you run out of time to tell the actual story.
Plenty of curses throughout make this movie unsuitable for young children (especially since nearly all of them were uttered by a minor in the film), while there's no actual nudity, there's plenty of humping and self pleasuring to make this not safe for work.

I'm sorry for everyone who signed on for this movie. How does this stuff even get funded? Terrible flow of story. One minute having sex, literally next minute have a 5 year old. Nothing to show for where the dad was yet he says he looked for her. Terrible screenplay, acting & just overall cinematography. Why doesn't anyone pay attention to the details? I found many, many flaws in editing.

My headline contains 2 phrases from movie, and both were said by 6 years old kid. That self says a lot about what kind of 'humor' prevails.
Main character is just not realistic, better said her way of talking, behaving in company, society is just pale attempt to make some humor.
Example: ' love you more than chocolate' - so 'romantic' ! Nobody normal would say such thing for her/his lover, with who wants to spend life.
Story self can be told in 2 sentences, and of course for everyone with IQ over 59 was totally predictable. The real question is: how many of them watched this til' end ?

This movie is amazing! I was laughing out loud so many times. The acting is really great and I loved the story. It runs pretty close to the book. I watched it two times. If you are a boy mom this will be so true to you. I loved the chemistry was off the charts. Its about finding your true love years later.

This movie lack substance plain and simple. There no real connection in the film to lure viewers in. I'm actually shocked that a lot of viewers gave it a 10. Any real critic would definitely watch this movie and no there was a ton of things wrong with film.

This movie have same quality as old movie comedy we know from 2000s. Some random word from enthusiatic mc. Even the situation akward is similiar to comedy we used to watch in 2000s. When movie comes to end some cringe line appear but hey, that didnt change the fact this movie is Worth watching.
I have never laughed so much, it's worth a watch!

Now, I have read the book but it's been a few years so I can't quite remember what's missing and what's not but with that saying this is a movie you don't want to miss! I laughed so hard it activated my asthma up really bad but it was totally worth it! I cannot wait for more! The humor alone is worth a viewing of this gem! I think this movie might be taking up my number one spot for a the Passionflix movies.

...and after watching the movie, I doubt I will. I'm not a prude, but I surly didn't appreciate hearing a 4 year old boy cussing like a sailor. The only thing I found funny was the t-shirts worn by the main male character's best friend.

I am a diehard romantic and a huge Passionflix fan, so take this with the gravity that it is meant...I did not care for the crude humor and storyline in this romantic comedy. I have not read the book that this is adapted from, but if this is true to the book I will not be reading it.
The rough storyline is a girl goes to a frat party to intentionally loose her virginity in a hot drunken mess that ends up being a disaster that she then pays for for the rest of her life, because she gets pregnant has to drop out of college and move back home with her dad...and she doesn't even know the name of the child's father! On her twenty first birthday instead of having the drunken all-nighter that she planned (oh boo hoo), she is in the hospital swearing like a drunken sailor and delivering her son. Between her and her father, her son also has the mouth of a drunken sailor as well as a fixation on penises.
Her college friend moves back home and wants to open an adult sex toys business where her friend makes the snacks (hence the title). Then she meets her baby's daddy. Coincidentally he has been thinking of her this whole time in a terrible relationship with a girl that he has just gotten out of and refers to her as "smells like chocolate girl" as he also didn't know her name.
There was some awkward acting in this film, but the worst part is I couldn't relate to a single character. So terrible decisions, poor judgement and values depicted on top of just some ridiculous and crude humor (that I don't find funny at all).
I am sorry to say, as much as I want to support Passionflix, I can not recommend this film to anyone...not even romantics. I think I can honestly rank this as the worst passionflix film to date, even worse than The Protector and Hollywood Dirt!

Everyone knows that movies are.never as good as the books they are based on. Well let me tell you something...this one IS! Not gonna lie, I was a little scared going in. Seduction and Snacks is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE books (the whole series is amazing) and all I could think going in was, if they Eff this up I'm gonna cut a B****! Well, you will all be happy to know, no B****** will be getting cut today! The actors were great and the plot stayed true to the book and was just as laugh out loud funny! I wish I could give it more stars! I now have a new favorite movie too!

After a long stressful week, this was exactly what I needed. This movie is hilarious. It was absolutely what I hoped for and more. Casting is absolutely perfect, especially the dad. The conversation about skull****ing had me in tears laughing. I want to be friends with these people. I want to be friends with the author.

OMG! This movie was HILARIOUSLY FUNNY! From start to finish! Passionflix has done it again! I NEED MORE!!!! The cast is PERFECT! They brought Tara Sivic's words out PERFECTLY! They followed the book to a T..thank you Passionflix it's just what we needed right now.

I absolutely love Passionflix's movie adaptation of Tara Sivec's Seduction and Snacks! I can honestly say this is by far one of my favorite book to movie adaptations to date, and that includes adaptations that went to the big screen. I would've loved to have seen Seduction and Snacks on the big screen.
The casting was spot on, I never imagined they could get a perfect Drew and Jenny but they did. And the boy who played Gavin was adorably perfect. Passionflix was able to stay true to the personalities of Tara's larger than life, quirky, hilarious and at times crude characters that so many readers fell in love with.
The town, the Seduction and Snacks shop, everything was just how I pictured it in my mind while reading the books.
Now I can't decide if I immediately want to watch it again or reread both series again.
I do believe that people who have never read the books will enjoy it too!

I've loved the book for so long and was glad to see it be made into a movie. However, as with most book lovers sometimes the movie can be a horrible representation of a book we love so much. THANK GOD they did this book justice!! From the adaptation to the casting I could watch it over and over and not have a single thing I would change! Hoping for more in this series to be adapted!!

That never happens with movie adaptations! This one knocked it out of the park with the cast, the screenwriting, the entire project was phenomenal!!! If you've read the books, you must watch. If you haven't read the books, you'll still love it and then read the books too because there must be sequels to this movie!!!! 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up for Seduction and Snacks and for Passionflix for a job very well done!!

Passionflix did an amazing job bringing one of my fave rom-coms and characters to life! I laughed out loud, I smiled, and even got a bit emotional. And Carter and Claire are so sweet and hot! Gavin is precocious and adorable! Drew, Jenny, Liz, and Jim are the perfect crazy crew. The author's cameo made me grin. Loved it!
Such a funny, laugh out loud movie we all need right now.

A great adaptation by PassionFlix of Tara Sivecs romantic comedy . The actors were cast perfectly, really like they popped right out if the pages of the book. Smiled the entire time and laughed out loud more than once. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a great time.

Passionflix understood this assignment 100%! They truly knocked it out if the park! The cast is completely amazing and fit each part perfectly! It was like the characters came out of the book and became real people! There is so much humor and steam and the chemistry between all of them is perfect!

Seduction & Snacks is one of the funniest books I've ever read so I had high hopes for the movie adaptation. I was not disappointed! I thought the casting was on point and I laughed so much. There was just enough heat to make it even more interesting. Gavin was hysterical and made me laugh every time he was on screen. I loved it!

I absolutely LOVED this movie!!! The book was brilliant and the movie brought the pages to life!! Laugh out loud funny, soul warming, and steamy af... just perfectly done. There aren't enough stars in the universe to rate this as high as it should be. PLEASE make the rest of the books into movies!!
