I can normally allow my suspension of disbelief to carry me through even the more stupid plot holes and subplot lines, but if I'm going to be honest with you, even my wife leaned over and asked me just how preposterous the whole hacking thing was. Yes Ransomware is real, yes nothing is perfectly impenetrable, but each one of these attacks would take an act of holy miracle to pull off this flawlessly, let alone this much all at once and at the same time. But even if the hackers somehow managed to do it all, they writers forgot to include a motive outside someone just wanting to cause chaos
I kinda hated how they brought back Athena's attacker, and yet showed up and ran the court room like it was his show and the judge was just eating it up... for no reason.
Really not a fan of the PPD storyline. I get why it's here, but I'm not really on board with how the show is handling it
I really liked seeing Harry grow into a character this episode, demonstrating some enterprising spirit. Was really cool to see. Also wonderful to see that May is still at it, kicking ass and gaining confidence and standing on her own two feet.
I find it really weird though as time progresses just how often Micheal is around Athena's place, especially without his boyfriend around. He has his own place with his own relationship with the kids regularly there. Having Micheal always sound really encroaches on Bobby and Athena's scenes, and while I like that they all get along just fine, I wish Micheal would just hang back a bit more and let them be them.
Also did anybody else notice a dramatic dive in Visual effects quality? The animals especially really looked like they were phoning it in
Overall, not the strongest season premier of the series.
