A breaking point is reached

You just knew with how the previous episode ended, and with this being the penultimate for the series, that there were going to be some serious fireworks in this one.

Not going to go into specifics - but the season long internal struggle that has been building inside of Ray culminates in a pretty devastating final scene.

The writing and lead performance by Scott Ryan are matched by few other shows currently on television. I'm going to miss this show when it's all over next week.

Riveting from start to finish.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this show and how it succeeds in combining understated drama, hard-core action and dark humour. All brought to life by great writing and a stellar cast.

This final season has seen Ray starting to question the road he is on and in this episode he finally comes to a crashing halt both literally and figuratively. A riveting and heart-breaking thirty minutes and another great episode in the long line of great episodes.

Oh, btw. I wonder what happened with the polaroids? I have a feeling they might reappear in the final episode...
