I'm sure series 2 will follow.

Rose and Fulmer try to understand the messages that are being received, Coake is made to reveal his plan.

I think I'm perhaps being a little generous giving it a score of 6, in comparison to the rest of the series, I thought it was quite a disappointing episode, what I felt, was that there was more focus on keeping the show alive for a second series, than there was about concluding this one, they definitely took their eye off the ball.

The narrative tumbles to some degree, I wasn't exactly sure as to what the thing was, or what role Baz was playing.

It wasn't great, but it was very well acted, visually very appealing, and I suppose you could argue that there was a degree of intrigue, with a couple of questions answered.

Has whatever it is reached the mainland? That was a pretty good cliffhanger.

I really enjoyed this series, but came away disappointed with this.

6/10.

Light drama disappoints in its ending
rodriguez-alfonso11 January 2023
Not a bad drama overall, characters are well depicted, and there are many twists and turns of the characters.

The so-called-mistery that's at the center of this series is not so, but has a rather inplausible explanation by one of the main characters.

I binged watching it on my day off, and I enjoyed it.

There are many well known actors, like. Martin Compston of the great TV series 'Line of duty', as well as Owen Teal, from the same TV series.

Another character that has great protagonism is the Montreal born Emily Hampshire,

I enjoyed the series, but I was highly disappointed by the ending, that's why it deserves a 6.

Disappointed In the Ending

Warning: Spoilers
Watched all 6 episodes in a binge viewing. The cast was great. Unfortunately, you get to this final Episode 6 for Season 1 and it's not what I expected as an ending. So, I guess the big question is will there be a Season 2 for this show? I hope so.

As a spoiler, yes, there will need to be a Season 2 or at least a 1 1/2 hour episode to wrap up what was going on at the end of this final episode. Too many things left unresolved for me. This series had so much promise. Especially with the cast that was involved in the series. This last episode was a let down and they should have gone another one or two episodes for this first season.

Horrible ending to a horrible series
nfire-297418 February 2023
This was horrible from the beginning.

Worst ending for a series since Lost. That is pretty bad!

Ridiculous dialogue

Poorly written

With a couple exceptions, poor acting.

Character development was bad and inconsistent

Cinematography - Horrible! The graphics and stage sets looked like a something on sesame street. Hope they save a bunch of money there.

At the end, I was rooting for EVERY character to die. There wasn't one likable character in it.

I can't imagine it would get picked up for season 2. But if it does, I won't bother watching it.

Don't bother with this one. You are welcome!

X.
