So far, the season has proved that New Jersey housewives are in a league of their own. They are probably a lot more vicious than the other housewives. I wouldn't mess with him. I like Caroline Manza because she's probably the best mother in the group. Jacqueline lets her daughter walk all over her. I don't think Jacqueline realizes that her daughter, Ashley, probably feels neglected that her mother is throwing a big birthday bash for her younger brother and that Jacqueline is trying to have another baby with her second husband, Christopher. As somebody who works with kids, I can see that Ashley feels neglected by her mother at times though. Why doesn't Jacqueline throw an equally similar birthday party for Ashley? Well, I don't know. I think Danielle is surprisingly more effective as a mother but her desire to remarry is kind of sad. Doesn't she have the skills to care for herself and her children? Does she really want to be taken care of? Possibly because unfortunately, some women think getting married means happily ever after even in divorce. Danielle is a tough cookie and the outcast in the group. Three are related, Jacqueline, Dina and Caroline. I would think that Dina would be the outcast if she didn't have her family standing beside to defend her. I'm puzzled as to why Danielle's past is deemed trouble when we do know that corruption runs rapid in New Jersey. Teresa's husband works in construction where that industry is linked to a lot of corruption in our state. I think besides Jacqueline that there is Teresa's parenting skills. She gets her oldest daughter to audition for a movie with the Rock Dwayne Johnson and then decides to get her an acting coach. If you really want to be an actress, she should let her be a child first. Let her do class plays but I don't think that's good enough for Teresa. She is the typical stage mother. She wants fame and celebrity for her children because she's past the age for herself. She's building this dream house for years. When she described her husband as delicious and juicy, I thought that's how you describe a really good hot dog not a husband. Teresa also dresses her three girls (not triplets) in identical outfits and I wouldn't recommend that for identical triplets. Teresa is probably the most troubling of them all. I wouldn't mess with Dina who I don't care for. I like Caroline the best because she doesn't push her kids into the ideal which is sending them to college (the right college of course). Only her oldest son, Albie Jr., has graduated from college and is going to Fordham Law school. She would like to get her daughter to study cosmetology and open her own salon instead of dealing with the brides at the Brownstone. In an upscale town like Franklin Lakes, they would probably be appalled. Remember, Franklin Lakes is a posh Northern New Jersey town with a country club. I like Danielle but I think she's being singled out as the outcast for a reason. It's too keep the drama going. I just think Danielle is sending the wrong message to her own daughters by being dependent on men financially. She would be better off trying to get a job, career, and not rely on men who obviously don't want more than sex with her. Dina's husband is a no-show and that is also troubling but if it works, it works for them. Dina can be very nasty when she's working at the Brownstone as an event planner. I think Dina and Danielle are a lot alike except one has a career and the other doesn't. When the allegations go up in the air, I think they have to remember not to cast stones yet because we, the audience, are not necessarily convinced that they're purely innocent neither. I'll have to keep watching.
