Sex & Nudity

  • The dialogue contains some suggestive references (e.g., "You know dudes can do nice things without the expectation of getting laid, right"; "Maybe Diane and I still hook up"; "...I thought you were f**king my girlfriend!").
  • The main protagonist, Alex, has two characters she can romance with who are Ryan, and Steph. No sexual content ever happens between the characters as they only flirt, hug, and kiss during the game.
  • There are some mild sexual innuendos in the game that are said by a few characters sometimes. For example, Steph asks Diane if she wants to get drunk and make out with her in her bedroom, and do some "fun stuff" in there for a first date night if she accepts to date her. Diane doesn't accept Steph's offer, and states that she's straight, but says that she's willing to hang out with her.

Violence & Gore

  • Cutscenes depict some instances of violence: a man punching and kicking another character; a man shooting a character; a woman punching a character in the face repeatedly. Blood sometimes appears on characters' knuckles and/or faces.
  • Only a few scenes of violence in the game. A fist fight, someone being shot, etc. None of it is ever graphic.
  • There are some scenes of violence in the game, and a few of them depict blood, but nothing severe.

Profanity

  • The words "f**k," "sh*t," and "a*shole" appear in the dialogue.
  • Frequent mild swearing throughout by some characters, but not all. Strong swear words are used infrequently by a few characters.
  • There are some F-bombs in the game, but they're not said constantly.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some sequences allow players' character to drink shots of alcohol or cans of beer, and one sequence depicts a drinking game in a bar. The town contains a marijuana dispensary; both marijuana and paraphernalia are visible when talking to characters in the shop.
  • The player can choose to have Alex drink alcohol at certain points in the game, and other characters are depicted drinking alcohol sometimes. The game also takes place in a Colorado mountain town, which has multiple drug references from characters as well as a marijuana dispensary.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is an adventure game in which players follow the story of a young adult (Alex) trying to manage her empathic powers while solving a mystery in a Colorado town. From a third-person perspective, players explore various locations in town and interact with townspeople.
  • The game is very emotional, and a little suspenseful. The game also has a brief display of domestic violence, and a sudden character death.
  • Most of the game is bright, friendly, and relaxing. Outside of the drug references, and strong profanity, this game is pretty much a T for Teen (Ages 13+) game.
  • The game isn't exactly frightening, and/or intense, but it's definitely emotional. The backstory of Alex, and her older brother, Gabe, is particularly sad. Duckie also has a tragic background. Charlotte, Eleanor, Ethan, Riley, and Ryan's character arcs are emotional. Alex's potential romance with either Ryan, or Steph might be emotional (in a good way) for some players.

  • Alex's brother is the only character to die onscreen in whole game but even then his death neither graphic or gory.
