"Three am" is an excellent example of what the art of short film should be. It takes a powerful scene that in a feature film would be viewed as a pivotal moment in the longer film, and presents it as a snapshot of a story.
"Three am" succeeded in gripping me in the few minutes it was on screen; had me believe in the characters (though the acting was no better than middling) and posed at least two important questions about life. A lot of shorts get halfway as far as "Three am", if they're very well thought out.
Well done! Memorable!
