Guest starring K Callan
safenoe22 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
K Callan, who I remember from Lois and Clark from the 90s, where she played Martha Kent. Anyway, Renewal is a lot of fun although I guess some of the fanbase will be upset by some social aspects and all. Anyway, Brooklyn Nine-Nine ain't Friends.

But the Brooklyn Nine-Nine squad were all friends and I was just remember Andre Braugher, who sadly passed away too soon over one week ago. It's not fair, and he should have lived longer.

In this episode Kevin Cozner and Captain Holt renew their vows, and Cheddar plays a key role in the rescue of Holt and Jake in a basement which was quite the surprise.

One of the greatest

This episode is a love letter to the show, with callbacks and references to previous episodes, a great plot and great humour/drama balance.

BOOOOONE! I couldn't help but smile and laugh when Holt yelled that. The scene where he did that a few seasons ago is iconic and I am happy they did it again. I also loved the other throwbacks to previous episodes, I thought that was pretty cool. This was also a great episode, we got to see some more of classic O'Sullivan, his character is so funny. Cheddar also got a whole lot of screen time in this episode, which we all love to see. Since the final two episodes are a two part finale, this will most likely be the final big case the entire squad works together on. It was a perfect one to do as well. The ending was also super sweet, and a great way to end the episode.

Another great episode this season. I can't believe there is only two episodes left. I really hope they do a good job with the finale, I can't wait!

This episode is sweet. With Amy becoming chief & Holt becoming deputy comish. The references to past episodes are good, and this episode overall is just sweet. My rankings are:

1-Balancing 2-The Lake House 3-Renewal 4-Game of Boyles 5-PB&J 6-Blue Flu 7-The Set Up 8-The Good Ones.

It's a shame

It's a shame to see my favourite series on a massive decline, the fact they release 2 episodes a week with o Sullivan appearing every second episode shows the writers know it's political garbage.

So tired of this
matttalks4 September 2021
I loved this show before this season. The reason I liked it was it was silly comical nonsense performed with deadpan accuracy. Farcical situations that evoked ridiculous reactions from the cast. Most of this season seems like it was made to gain Acceptance from nonsense woke world. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for everyone being treated with respect and love and moving forward in the world in way that we should have already been acting in but for some reason are not. BUT I DONT watch this show to get their thoughts on this stuff. Nor do I watch it to learn about tolerance or anything even in that universe. I watch it bc it WAS FUNNY and it used to serve as an escape from the unpleasant realities of the world for a half hour a week. Now, I get to have a very non-effective PSA once a week and a further reminder that the level of sensitivity in our culture has reached such a level that it is making people act crazy or not know how to act...both actually. But the fact remains that Nobody who watches the show does so because of the "message " it's delivering. And by trying to be one of those shows it's kind of betraying itself and it's own genuineness. So thank a lot.

Some good Peralta and Holt stuff tonight, but this season has been such a disaster. The storylines could not be crafted any worse than they have been in the final run.

Could be better and could be made without the unnecessary scenes.

Lost its magic
mextedk30 June 2022
This has been a very disappointing season, the show is trying too hard to take a political stance. The call backs to previous episodes and seasons felt very forced. Hopefully the next two episodes bring it back but so far I am not impressed.
