Tijuana, one of the more prominent cites in Mexico, has never had a first division professional soccer team until the Xolos. Started by Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza at the age of 23, the youngest team President in Liga MX history. Jorge and his childhood friends from Coronado came together to start a multi-million dollar business.

Being the largest land crossing border in the world, the city of Tijuana has had its problems over the years. But with the promotion of the Xolos to the first division in the Liga MX and the building of Estadio Caliente, a home was built for all citizens of TJ to come together and unify the city for something positive.

Winning the National Title put the Xolos on the Soccer Map in Mexico. But the Xolos deep run in the Copa Libertadores put them on the World Map of Soccer. The Xolos success has made a major impact on the city of Tijuana. The team's infrastructure is strong and plans on sticking around for a very long time.
