The Sidemen are celebrating Valentine’s Day on Netflix. On February 14, the creator group consisting of members Ksi, Zerkaa, Miniminter, Vikkstar123, Tbjzl, W2S, and Behzinga will premiere The Sidemen Story, an original documentary that will track the septet’s rise from its humble beginnings to YouTube glory and beyond.
According to Deadline, the doc has been in the works since 2022. The Sidemen confirmed the project’s distribution deal on X, where the group’s official account shared the Netflix logo and the cryptic message “coming soon.”
Luke Hyams will direct The Sidemen Story, with Sunita Mirchandani Hyams producing through the Hyams’ media venture Pangaea. The directing half of the Hyams is well-versed in Sidemen lore, as he previously served as YouTube’s Head of Originals for the Emea region.

British rapper, YouTuber, and boxer Ksi has apologized for using a slur for Pakistani and Southeast Asian people in a recent video, adding that he will “take a break from social media for a while.”
The incident occurred Sunday, April 2, with a video uploaded by the YouTube group Ksi helped found, called the Sidemen. The clip was a spoof of the long-running U.K. game show, Countdown, with the players tasked at one point with trying to form the longest word they could out of a random set of nine letters.
