This is such a wonderful story on so many levels and shows what one filmmaker's vision can accomplish. David Ponce's all too short life is in part memorialized by his desire to help the HIV/AIDS children who live in this South Africa hospice community. This is a must see short by an amazing young man. Subjects like this one are difficult to present but David Ponce's movie brings tenderness, understanding and hope to these lives. Ponce, who died in 2006, did the majority of the filming himself. After he died, some additional pick up days were necessary. There is a touching scene in the movie where a young man runs beside the vehicle in which Ponce is riding as he is filming as well. The smiling young boy calls out to David, who responds, I won't spoil it, you've got to see it yourself.
