[as Poppy and Periwinkle begin searching for the title object, located inside a blue book]
Grandfather Simon's voice: Fools! Your grandfather tricked you!
[Poppy and Periwinkle gasp and shudder]
Poppy: Listen, Mister! Tell me what you think of this. When we find the Key, we'll give you some of the treasure.
Periwinkle: Yeah! We'll give you something to thank you. B-But please, just let us look for the book, okay?
Grandfather Simon's voice: [snickers loudly] I've been guarding this library for 50 years - and I've been looking for that key for 50 years too! Before he passed away, Simon promised me that he'd put it somewhere in here. So I read - and re-read - every one of these books to solve the mystery!
Periwinkle: Wow! Every single one?
Grandfather Simon's voice: Quiet, you nosy rascal!
[Periwinkle gasps]
Grandfather Simon's voice: I heard you talking about the parchment yesterday, and I thought that was the Key! But I was fooled, just like you. I know this library like the back of my hand - and there are no blue books in here!
Poppy: Listen, sir. You see, we don't want to bother you.
Grandfather Simon's voice: [laughs] You won't bother me anymore!
Periwinkle: Well, that's good. Where are you, sir?
Grandfather Simon's voice: You wanted to play with fire, and you got burned. As for me, I'm afraid I'll have to go!
