  • Some sexual dialogue, including references to prison rape and targeting convenience stores because they sell condoms claiming they encourage people "to bang white girls".
  • A man is threatened with "being pumped full of Viagra and forced to fuck a dog".

  • A man punches himself in the nose, which bleeds a good amount.
  • One man head it's another man. He is later shown with a bandaged nose.
  • A lot of discussion about blowing up targets as part of jihad.
  • A camp is accidentally blown up with a rocket, only shown from a distance.

  • This also has number of strong language delivered in Punjabi and Urdu, this might put off or shock some viewers who speak or understand Punjabi and/or Urdu.
  • 'Ass' is said.
  • Frequent mild name calling and insults.
  • 'Fuck' is said at least ten times, including some in a sexual context.
  • 'Shit' is said about 25 times.
  • "Paki", "Jewish", and "gay" are all used as offensive terms.

  • The film revolves around several men planning a suicide bombing, which may be difficult for some viewers.
  • The accidental death of a sympathetic character is somewhat frightening.

  • The final sequence of the film is emotionally intense and much darker compared to the rest of the film.

  • A character dies tripping and a sheep blows up. No blood visible, save for when a character who gathered the remains into a trash bag is seen with blood on his arms. The rest of "Lions" blow up, with no blood visible, just smoke and debris.
