Instead of getting a Feature, you should get this short and watch it 8 times. It would be better. Instead of taking a 15 minute children's book and milking it into a 2 hr skim feature. This is a worthwhile story condensed into a slurry of evaporated humanity chunks. NO MOMENT WASTED. No unnecessary fiction.
Things I liked. Justice is handed out just like in real life. Poorly. Acting is 'hitting the mark and telling the truth'. Although time is precious, there are places where time is used generously and that is because people are not as transparent in real life as movies would make them appear. Nobody in real life would say something like, " I am going to goof off here while smoking and steeling gas because I am the sorriest son that ever held a job w/CDL. Instead of that, subtle clues. You recognize them if you have been there.
