Once again the episode seems to depend on people being stupid to advance the plot.It's not entire clear why Steph is humouring the psycho she's stuck with and her plan to send a toddler into town to get help doesn't really stand up to close scrutiny.And Toadie really needs to work on his negotiating technique, bellowing threats down the phone at Jay when he's got Steph right there.No wonder Nicola tells him to stay in the car.
In barely related news, Rebecca decides to give Steve an "I'm right and you're not" speech that suggests she's been hanging around with Susan for too long.But she does at least quickly realise she's wrong and that actually being scared of Bridget turning out like her is a pretty sensible idea.She's probably ideally placed to convince Bridget of the fact although her sudden turnabout is a bit hard on Declan and it just makes her look impressionable.
