LiLo Jealous of Sam Ronson and Nicole Richie?

22 October 2009 7:04 AM, PDT | Extra | See recent Extra news »

Lindsay Lohan has remained "friends" with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, but a report today suggests the actress is "not happy" about Sam's friendship with LiLo's former pal, Nicole Richie.

According to Fox, the deejay went out with Nicole and babydaddy Joel Madden on Friday night to L.A. hotspot Playhouse Hollywood, where the threesome danced and drank lemon drop shots. When Lindsay found out about it, she reportedly lost it!

Quelle horreur! Lindsay Lohan's disastrous Paris debut

5 October 2009 2:03 PM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Yesterday in Paris, the fashion world got to see what the famed, if fading, couture house Ungaro looks like when Lindsay Lohan comes aboard as "creative consultant." The reviews are now in ... and oh là là, mes amis, they are not jolies. Style.com called the collection, which was designed by Spain's Estrella Archs, "a bad joke of a fashion show," while the New York Times busted out the claws and compared Lohan's new gig to "something akin to a McDonald’s fry cook taking the reins of a three-star Michelin restaurant." (Oh hell yeah!) According to reports, by the »

Lindsay Lohan's Fashion Debut Bombs at Paris Fashion Week

5 October 2009 2:24 AM, PDT | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

While the wreckage of her acting career is still smoldering, Lindsay Lohan's career as fashion designer looks headed for a similar result. Hired as "artistic adviser" to the struggling French label Emanuel Ungaro, she presented models appearing "in loose-fitting jackets that flapped open to reveal that they wore sequin-covered pasties, in the shape of hearts, on their breasts, leaving several people in the audience aghast." Classy, Lindsay!

Noted French art director Fabien Baron savaged her dryly, saying, "We love Lindsay Lohan — as an actress. Period." And style.com photographer Greg Kessler took pics of front-row guests "asking them to pose as Ms. Lohan by holding up their hands, ashamedly, in front of their faces."

This is just the latest in a series of setbacks for LiLo. Her most recent movie (Labor Pains) went straight to DVD, and it was reported she turned down the Heather Graham role in The Hangover »

Lindsay Heads Out of Town After Giving Adequate Warning

23 September 2009 8:30 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Lindsay Lohan arrived at Lax yesterday on her way out of town after announcing her impending departure to Samantha Ronson via Twitter on Sunday night. Lindsay is expected in Paris to show off Ungaro's new collection on October 4 so that leaves over a week for her to make sure she's prepared and no longer in hot water. Meanwhile, the Lapd identified the man who robbed Lindsay's house last month and apparently the suspect, who used to be a friend of LL's, often visited her on the set of Labor Pains and has been in a bunch of legal trouble for drug possession already this year. Sounds like a gem. View 5 Photos › »

21 September 2009 11:46 PM, PDT | Hollyscoop.com | See recent HollyScoop news »

Lindsay Lohan should really consider screening her friends. Most of them are either after fame, or money. And she doesn't have much money, so we're going to go with fame on this one. Nick Prugo, the man who was arrested for breaking into Lindsay's home, has ties to the actress. In fact, witnesses on set of her movie Labor Pains say they would see him hanging out on set with her all the time. According to TMZ, one person on set claims to have seen him at least 10 times with Lindsay. While the nature of their... »

Photo Gallery: Lindsay Lohan Sprays the Paps

6 August 2009 3:00 AM, PDT | Celebuzz.com | See recent Celebuzz news »

Lindsay Lohan was feeling kind of misty last night. As the Labor Pains actress made her way out of West Hollywood hotspot Bardot on Wednesday night, she attempted to push back the paparazzi by spraying them with a plant mister. Nice try, Linds, but you don't think a little water is going to dissuade the paps, do you? You probably could have opened up a fire hose on them and they still would have snapped away. On the plus side, at least she didn't throw eggs at them this time. Our little girl is growing up! Kinda. »

Labor Pains Postpone Chris Brown Sentencing

5 August 2009 3:35 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

A judge wants to make sure that Chris Brown has plenty of labor days ahead of him. The fallen R&B star's sentencing on an assault rap was postponed until Aug. 27 while the terms of his sentence are worked out between authorities in California and Brown's home state of Virginia, where he's hoping to serve the six months of community labor he was slapped with for attacking Rihanna. Brown, who pleaded guilty to felony assault in June, was expected to be formally sentenced today to five years' probation, 180 days of labor and an anti-domestic-violence program (which he has already been ordered to complete in Los Angeles). But the judge really wants to make sure Brown sweats out his... »

Sucsy's Garden Leads to Goree Girls

5 August 2009 | ioncinema | See recent ioncinema news »

- Michael Sucsy is parlaying the recent success of his Emmy-nominated HBO film Grey Gardens into his first theatrical project titled Goree Girls. Variety reports that Sucsy would direct Jennifer Aniston and a cast of seven other women sometime in January for production co. Overnight's Rick Schwartz and Aaron Kaufman and Echo Films' Aniston and Kristin Hahn are producing. Girls is a music-themed film based on a Texas Monthly article titled "O Sister Where Art Thou" (you can read the actual article here) about eight female prison inmates who formed a singing act in the 1940s. The 8,000-word Skip Hollandsworth-penned tale revealed the whereabouts of the Texas-based Goree All Girl String Band, which became a sensation as the ladies serenaded national radio audiences. The women, some of whom had been sent up the river for robbery and murder, formed the band, hoping to shorten their sentences. The shame of »

Tues Top Ten: Pregnancies

4 August 2009 8:30 PM, PDT | FilmExperience | See recent FilmExperience news »

In honor of Penélope Cruz's recently announced pregnancy and the DVD release of Lindsay Lohan's latest Labor Pains (don't everybody rush out to snatch it up at once. I promise you they'll have enough copies) in which she fakes a pregnancy to keep a job, I thought a top ten list celebrating the miracle of childbirth -- or future childbirth rather -- was called for.

But first a bit more about Ms. Lohan. Rich at fourfour collected the Labor Pain lines that were more applicable to Lindsay the celebrity than the character she happens to be playing.

...not that Lindsay plays characters these days. The Actress wrapped things up with Mean Girls, only The Celebrity lives on.

This Week on DVD: Race to Witch Mountain, The Soloist, Flight of the Conchords: Season 2

4 August 2009 9:08 AM, PDT | FilmJunk | See recent FilmJunk news »

Kind of a forgettable week for DVD shopping, with the exception of a couple of cool TV and Blu-ray releases. Big name titles hitting store shelves include Disney's Race to Witch Mountain starring The Rock, catfight thriller Obsessed starring Ali Larter and Beyonce Knowles, plus The Soloist starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx. There's also the indie Michael Chabon adaptation The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and low budget action/sci-fi flick Mutant Chronicles, plus the Lindsay Lohan direct-to-dvd comedy Labor Pains. Uhh... yeah. Save your money for the dry Kiwi comedy of Flight of the Conchords: Season 2 or the trippy outrageousness of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season 3, plus Big Trouble in Little China on Blu-ray. Race to Witch Mountain [1] (DVD, Blu-ray [2]) Obsessed [3] (DVD, Blu-ray [4]) The Soloist [5] (DVD, Blu-ray [6]) The Mysteries of Pittsburgh [7] (DVD, Blu-ray [8]) Mutant Chronicles [9] (DVD, Blu-ray [10]) Delgo [11] Labor Pains [12] (DVD, Blu-ray [13]) Fragments [14] The Chaos Experiment [15] You Must Remember This »

Out On DVD: Labor Pains

4 August 2009 7:32 AM, PDT | ScreenStar | See recent ScreenStar news »

Lindsay Lohan has perfect comedic timing; her presence onscreen lures you into her character's world. In her latest film, Lohan plays Thea, a struggling twenty-something that pretends to be pregnant in order to save her job. Whole heartedly committing to the lie, Thea allows herself to get roped into outrageous situations like birthing classes, pregnant pool parties, and frequent trips to the baby store, which makes this movie hard not to watch. The quirky comedy begins with a bang and ends with a burst and will have your laughing the whole way through... A large part of the film's success is because of the brilliant comedians involved; the cast of Labor Pains reads like a program for The Comedy Store or Saturday Night Live. If you have ever had a wacky boss, Chris Parnell will make them look tame and Lisa, played by Cheryl Hines, will remind you of your favorite coworker, »

Labor Pains Movie Review

4 August 2009 7:24 AM, PDT | ScreenStar | See recent ScreenStar news »

After a hiatus from the big screen, Lindsay Lohan is back and bigger than ever; no joke, her belly just keeps growing. In her new film Labor Pains, Lohan plays Thea who is down on her luck and can't catch a break. After her parents died while in college Thea's world has been turned upside down and she finds herself looking after her younger sister. Thea works at a mundane publishing company where her only pleasure is gossiping with her gal pal Lisa (Cheryl Hines) in the bathroom. Always pushing the limits at work and bad-mouthing her boss puts Thea low on the totem pole in the office which means her daily duties revolve around her bosses pride and joy, Sir Arthur The Dog. When faced with losing her job for badmouthing her boss, Thea concocts a massive lie that changes her life and career. Having watched on Law & Order »

DVD Links: DVD News | Release Dates | New Dvds | Reviews | RSS Feed Unfortunately it's a very bad week for DVD and Blu-ray releases, but let's rundown the list anyway as maybe some of you are looking forward to at least renting one or two of these. The Soloist The best new film of the bunch has to be The Soloist, but even it isn't a stand-out masterpiece by any stretch. It does have a couple of good performances and is certainly worth a once over, but as far as being a purchase I would definitely recommend against it. Mutant Chronicles This action-sci-fi feature starring Thomas Jane, John Malkovich and Ron Perlman is probably the title I am most interested in renting and a little upset I forgot to request a review copy, but Netflix will take care of that. Race to Witch Mountain Ugh, just a bad, bad movie. Kids may »

Lindsay Lohan Finally Has a Job!

3 August 2009 10:56 AM, PDT | HorrorYearbook | See recent HorrorYearbook news »

It's no secret that Lindsay Lohan's career has been in the pooper for quite some time. Her last film, Labor Pains, did not play in theaters, and she was stupid enough to turn down a role in this summer's surprise hit, The Hangover, but it looks like she has finally found work in director Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse spinoff Machete. Rodriguez told MTV back in July that he wanted to work with Lohan: »
