I saw this film at Sundance this year and was very impressed. I lost a brother six years ago and this was a realistic and intelligent portrayal of grief. What I like most about the movie is that it had a hopeful ending. My parents did not get a divorce after we lost my brother and it was nice to see a movie that didn't end in the demise of the family.
Pierce was really excellent - better than I've ever seen him before. Johnny Simmons was also wonderful. He provided the humor the movie needed. If you get a chance to see this movie I would jump at the opportunity. It made me laugh and it made me cry. I think it will be very cathartic to anyone that has ever lost someone they have loved. Really great job!
