- Despite Michael's condition, the team goes forward with their plans to steal Scylla. Gretchen and T-Bag work together to get the sixth card from the General but without success. Michael, Lincoln, Sucre and Mahone break through the wall.
- The episode begins with Mahone and Sucre threading a small video camera through the wall leading to Scylla.
We cut to Gretchen putting on a risqué schoolgirl outfit and having T-Bag take photos of her with a phone.
After putting up a fight, Michael promises Sara and Lincoln that he will have his brain surgery later that day. After receiving a Scylla-moving update from Lisa, The General gets Gretchen's schoolgirl picture on his phone along with a message asking that they meet.
While Sara is describing Michael's tumor-removal surgery, Self arrives with some equipment and assures them he is keeping an eye on Gretchen and T-Bag.
With the new video in hand, Michael briefs the group on what stands between them and Scylla: Two walls, one concrete and one glass, as well as high sensitive sensors measuring heat and sound. Scylla sits in a smaller enclosure in the middle of the room, which the guys have to reach without tripping additional sensors in the floor. (All that, and they must somehow grab Scylla before Prison Break is cancelled.) Michael has another one of his attacks during the meeting and is unable to finish the briefing.
A reference to Gretchen getting the sixth card sends us to a hotel room. The General arrives and Gretchen puts on her moves, but he clearly knows what's up. The General pull a gun on Gretchen and she begs for her life, arguing that she is the mother of his child and telling him she loves him. Gretchen is spared, but The General tells her if he ever sees her again she'll be shot "on sight."
Gretchen arrives at T-Bag's office, where he tells her he's now convinced Trishanne is an F.B.I. agent. Gretchen calls Feng, who is busy loading up a van with $125 million in cash, the payment for Scylla. She tells him "we need to talk."
Self tells Michael that Gretchen was unable to get the sixth card from the The General. Michael responds that without the last card there is no way to access Scylla without "losing another man." (Do I smell a heroic death?) Self hands Michael a message from Gretchen which we do not see.
Just after Trishanne calls Self to tell him Gretchen is in T-Bag's office, Feng shows up. Gretchen tells Feng that to ensure Scylla's recovery they will need his help.
Michael tells Sara he isn't going to have his surgery after all, that he couldn't live with himself if the rest of the guys died going after Scylla without him. Sara gives Michael an injection to lessen the chances of his having a seizure, warning him that he could still suffer one if there is "any added physical or mental stress."
The General tells Lisa that because of the Gretchen incident he wants Scylla moved immediately. He tells her to call in the other card holders.
Still without the sixth card, Michael, Lincoln, Sucre and Mahone head down to Scylla. Trishanne overhears a conversation between T-Bag and Gretchen where she tells him they need to meet to hear a new, higher offer for Scylla.
Working in complete silence, the foursome begins the process of getting to Scylla. They drill a pair of small holes high on the wall, and then use a car battery-powered wand to make their primary opening with an electromagnetic field. Umbrellas are fed through the smaller holes to catch concrete pieces as they break though.
Similar to a suspension bridge, wires are sent down through the upper holes to support a walkway they gradually build through the wall's primary opening. Sucre makes his way along the bridge, using liquid nitrogen to cool the room and trick the heat sensor. To the surprise of no one who has seen this show before, Sucre drops the liquid nitrogen canister and has to dive over the side and grab it just inches from the floor.
When Self and Trishanne arrive at Gretchen and T-Bag's meeting they discover it was a trap. Feng and several of his men are waiting for them with guns. T-Bag and Gretchen are now back in his office, planning to take Scylla from the guys when they finish the mission. Lisa tells The General a C-130 has been cleared and the Scylla move can begin when the card holders arrive.
Michael, the guy with the unstable brain tumor, is sent across the makeshift bridge to Scylla's glass enclosure. He uses a pair of suction cup-thingies and a glass cutter to make a small circle in the wall and reach Scylla itself.
Just as Michael places his hands on Scylla a red sensor on the table flashes. This triggers an alarm on The Generals computer. He presses a button and sees a live shot from the ceiling above Michael as he's grabbing Scylla. The General grabs a phone, barking "I need a team downstairs, now" and heads to the elevator we've been told leads straight to the Scylla chamber.
