Vegan... not for me

I am disappointed with Sustainable Table: What's on Your Plate (2006) by Mischa Hedges. Instead of convincing me I should be a vegan and consider the environmental impacts of my food choices, I feel attacked for being an omnivore. The documentary covers five sections: resources, farm workers, farm animals, plant based diet and sustainable food systems. Being a one sided film it was very informative regarding the positives of sustainability on our farms and how positive the effects could be on society however it misses the other side of the argument.
I would consider this film appropriate for school age children but would use caution for part 3, farm animals. Overall, I wouldn't watch this video again nor use it in my own classroom, there are far too many other options that are more convincing.
