As always, read the fine print.

Binghamton is upset about losing his civilian job after the war and is looking to get on the good-side of a firm so that when the war is over he has a good job. It just so happens that a young lieutenant, Whitworth, gets assign to the base. Young Mr Whitworth is in charge of the largest life insurance company on the mainland. Binghamton is bending over backwards to impress Whitworth so that he can be a salesman after the war.

Whitworth tells Binghamton that if he can sell a policy to all the 73 crew then he will hire him as an agent. Binghamton basically orders the crew to have the insurance papers over on his desk in the morning. McHale tells the crew to fill out the applications but to put Ensign Charles Parker as the agent that sold the policy. Binghamton is livid. He changes the agent to his name and sends the PT 73 on a long mission. But if something should happen to the men of the 73 all the policies would have to pay-up. Binghamton would then tell the real truth about who sold the policies.

There are a few nice scenes in this episode. When Binghamton goes over to McHale's island with advance pay for the men- that scene was actually funny. There are a lot of misses as the plot got more and more confusing when you were suppose to read the fine-print that was never told to the audience until projected. But overall it was an above average story that was pleasant to watch.
