I like this show

I like this show. I like most of the characters. But the reporter dude??? He's an awful person. Nothing is off limits to the betterment of his career. Selfish doesn't care who he hurt s to get what he wants. Bravo to the boyfriend who sees him for what he is.

But the episode was pretty likeable! Still not going in any direction I thought it would... but uh, I'm along for the ride. Feel bad for Simon. Can't wait for more Simon.

Bang
bevo-1367812 September 2022
I like the bit where the reporter would do anything to get a good story including following people and breaking into apartments to find information and all that sort of stuff. One time things got a little too close for comfort and that angry man chased after them band yelled at them. Then the blokes boyfriend got cranky because he got a bit scared when the big hairy angry man yelled at them and chased after the car because the reporter broke into the house and stole his secret mobile telephone. But then they had a few beers and probably had a bang anyway in the end or the might have broken up instead.

Unbelievable
xinnobun7 October 2021
Why did they paint such an impractical depiction of a reporter? Nobody working for a prominent news organization in their right mind is going to risk the org's reputation, risk his career, and also risk his life by breaking into peoples' homes. What a joke of an episode.

I Want You To Hold Yourself To A Higher Standard

Warning: Spoilers
Now we have the reporter, sitting down to interview the mistress. The mistress reveals that she feels betrayed by Nick, the serial cheater.

Wow, the reporter trespasses into the Brewer house taking pictures. He's caught by Pia and he's lucky he's not killed. I would have ended him.

Oh and of course, the ASian Reporter is gay. We have to have a male to male kissing scene. It's just a requirement of shows now in the Woke Age. -1 Star.

Reporter tracks down a student. Was Nick seeing a student?? Ruh Roh. Tara Wilson??? Tara rebuffs reporter man. Huge Hoop earrings being worn by newspaper in charge lady. -1 Star. Dakota King! She undercut reporter dude and slam dunked on his roll.

Reporter gets a lead, then he trespasses in the leads apartment. He almost gets caught. Haha. +1 Star for chasing the lead, or vice versa!!!

When Reporter Boy gets transcripts of Cheater Husband's last conversation with a girl he was cheating withs' last conversation, he gets an interview with Cheater Wife. +1 Star for a nice move.

Then he goes home and has a gay celebration. Or tries to anyway. The boyfriend doesn't like the person who the boyfriend has become. He stomps out.

What do you think of the signs, Sophie.

Bahaha. They paint Nick Brewer as like an A that really deserved to be killed. Now that IS reporting!!!!

5/10.

What A Piece of Sh#*
nicapica8815 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
That reporter is absolute garbage. 90% of the things he does in this episode are illegal. He can't just be videotaping people without their knowledge or consent. Breaking and entering, which was a burglary once you start taking property. Good job for his boyfriend reminding him these are real people. The sad thing is, you know there are real reporters out there in the world pulling the same crap. Probably not a lot, but definitely a few. Showing people in movies and on tv getting away with that kind of stuff is crazy and kinda dangerous. People are going to think it's all okay as long as you don't get caught.

Hard to enjoy
zachmetzgers12 December 2021
This episode is a bit hard to enjoy because it follows a reporter and he's without a moral compass. Not once, but TWICE, he breaks and enters and preys on people in pain in the name of getting his story. At least the reporter's boyfriend has a conscience and he calls him out on his behavior. It's sad too because we used to think of journalists as heroes. More and more these days, they feel like vultures and that's certainly the case in this episode. But it feels pretty over-the-top because I'm sure the majority of real reporters are nothing like this.
