The up and down nature of the show continues, following a downturn last week - this was, I thought, a decent episode.

Whilst getting ready to jettison unwanted things out the back of the ship, it becomes apparent to some of the guests that aspects of the ship aren't real. Including that Captain Clark (Hugh Laurie) isn't genuinely in control of Avenue 5. Believing it all to be an elaborate gameshow, some passengers begin to try and force their way into the airlocks. Judd (Josh Gad) meanwhile fires his captain, and promotes Spike (Ethan Phillips) to the role.

So yes, a few moments of this one made me laugh. Mostly, as I keep saying - the mainstays of Hugh Laurie, Lenora Crichlow and Suzy Nakamura. Rav's space flight, and the realisation about what it all might mean next week was interesting.

It's been a patchy, up and down season that comes to a conclusion next week.

My favorite episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Holy crap, everyone on the ship, besides the obvious ones, are so dumb. Screw getting rid of the weight equivalent of 500 non-essential passengers by jettisoning non-essential possessions, just go with the first plan and jettison 500 passengers.

Given how they're so stupid, they'd probably end up doing that by themselves. What difference would it make if, rather than doing it themselves, they're simply jettisoned, "officially." Does morality truly matter in this context? Plus, just by making Matt the bad guy, some of them are deserving enough to be jettisoned.

Anyway, this episode has taken the place of my favorite episode. I hope the finale is just as good, and the season ends on a high note.

We need longer episodes!

These episodes go by so fast and a lot is crammed in. Just when your finally settling into the episode, it's over. I feel they can expound more on each situation, the story, and characters.
