Where did it go?

I couldn't wait to see this film as I had read the book last summer and liked it a lot. The film also had a few of my favourite actors in it so I was really excited when I had a free evening at last to go and see it...........Where did it go?????? It was out in the cinema for 2 weeks and then disappeared!!!! I live in a major city and these cinemas are showing films that have been out for months but ThePLofPL disappears after 2 weeks! I have to tell you I actually cried when I realised as I was really looking forward to it. I might upgrade my rating when I actually get to see the film but am I really going to have to wait for DVD? When will that be - December?
