It gets in everything

This is a featurette on the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD of Spider-Man 3. It consists of interview bits, stuff from the comic books, looks at various tests and previsualization, clips from the movie and behind the scenes footage. They go into the character, studying how sand moves and behaves, different types of it, the casting choice of Thomas Haden Church, the origin of the villain as seen in the film(yeah... you may not want to watch this until you've seen SM3), and, awfully briefly, Stan Lee appears with one or two things to tell. Everyone has something to say, and it's all explained rather well. This is informative and entertaining. Coming it at just under 14 minutes with credits, this is never boring, and has a nice pace. It's well-edited and fairly concise, without rushing past the CGI and tech talk, so everyone can follow this. This focuses almost entirely on the flick's presentation of the classic foe of the hero of the somewhat arachnid persuasion, with quite little in the way of comparison to the written original version. You'll have to look elsewhere for that. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the subject of this. 7/10
