How boring has this season been?! I loved The Sinner because it always kept you guessing. The twisted dark secret behind the person's actions was a lingering mystery. This season, it was revealed basically from the start, and honestly, the "reason" and rationality for Jamie's urges to act out is certainly a lame, unfulfilling, and unjustified one. In the other seasons the dark and twisted past caused the main characters dark twisted ways in their present life. Jamie and nick are just two D bags that want to commit crimes because they have a "live life on the edge" on steroids mentality.

I am forcing myself to get through this season because I loved the other two. It is so incredibly slow. I watched the fifth episode three times because I couldn't stay awake. I really like Matt Bomer as an actor I just couldn't stand this storyline.

I am behind on watching. Jeez, the people are really acting stupid. I cannot see even an odd detective like Ambrose doing some of the very stupid things that he has done in this season. Even compared to the dumb ass things he did.
I cannot see how he could possible continue to be employed as a cop. Heck, I would have fired him long ago.
The NYPD det coming back in to talk to Jamie after says he wants an attorney is a clear violation of procedures. Once a person asks for an attorney, the questioning really has to stop as anything learned could be excluded.
Anyway, I am debating not finishing the season and looking to see if Season 4 is any better. But then part of me has a compulsion to finish...

Warning: Spoilers
Harry continues to irrationally support a murderer and a psychopath. After he dropped Jamie off at his home, the guy goes back to the city and kills a guy who seemed to have some psychic abilities. He bashed his head in with a rock. I won't go into many of the details but after watching Harry through three episodes, he has turned into a zombie. There is so much evidence against Jamie, circumstantial or not, that he needed to be reined in. But Harry plays into his hand. Now Jamie's wife has thrown him out and he needs Harry. And to make it even more interesting, the NYPD is involved. They are looking at Harry with a microscope.
