- After Rebecca's first Shopaholics meeting, Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" can be heard playing in the background of many scenes. For instance, it is also used as elevator music.

- SPOILER: At the end, when Rebecca pays off her entire debt in coins, stating that she was doing it in the most inconvenient way possible, there was nothing Mr. Smythe could have done about it if it was a real situation since, if he had refused the payment, the law states that, then, the debt is paid in full. This is something collection agencies do not want revealed.
