Nicolas Alayo's short film, ROSE & RAVEN, is truly one of the BEST FILMS we have ever seen! Not only is the story full of heart, ROSE & RAVEN challenges the way we communicate with one another and anyone who watches this film will leave the theater a better person - no kidding - ROSE & RAVEN has that effect. So often, we as humans fail to connect with one another simply because we don't "communicate" the same way (whether that be through language, religion, politics, etc.). Nicolas Alayo's film reminds us that we need to step up and try, regardless of the differences and the reward will be worth the work. It's no wonder Rose & Raven was nominated for FIVE awards and WON the BEST OF FEST Award as well as the Best Lead Actor Award for Jared DeBusk's beautiful performance as "Raven" at the 2020 Blackbird Film Festival! This film is an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE!
