Danny Cohen has outlined his vision for BBC One at the MediaGuardian International Edinburgh TV Festival. The first clips of Sherlock series two, Miranda Hart's Call The Midwife and adaptations of The Borrowers and Birdsong were unveiled and Cohen spoke of his ambition to make reality show The Voice a major Saturday night hit in 2012. He also announced ambitious live broadcast Fight For Life, which will follow animals - black bears and their tiny cubs in Minnesota, through to baby Ring-Tailed lemurs in Madagascar - around the planet as they go through their most critical and vulnerable periods.
