The first movie was based on a story/screenplay by Michael J Wilson and Michael Berg. The screenplay for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs was a collaborative effort by Michael Berg and screenwriters Peter Ackerman, Mike Reiss, and Yoni Brenner.
