First I love the show, but Adam & Eve says it all

Despite some political tones that I think aren't needed with some that are, I truly like the show. The actors are all good, the stories are compelling, but I just have to say in biology there are only two sexes for most animals.

I like the character Bishop and have to confess i don't understand what's up without a guess, but I know this is politically incorrect but there are only two sexes. I don't care whether people prefer same or opposite sex because life is tough and sucks, so if something makes someone happy I'm happy for them. But I don't think there needs to be a 3rd bathroom for other.

So mixing in this other issue I'm not sure how to process it yet with what I think otherwise is a good story.

This made my day

This show consistently blows me away each week, all the characters are so wonderful and the stories being told are so exciting. The actors are great, the writing is great, overall it's quickly become one of my favourite shows.

Most of all this week though, the coming out scene with Bishop and Reyes meant so much. I don't get to see people like me in the media often, and it felt so good to finally get that. It was a really beautiful scene, and if only everyone reacted to people coming out the way Reyes did then the world might be a bit of a better place.

I really wanted to continue watching this series, but...

Obviously Dr. Paula Reyes does NOT know biology like she says she does in this episode, there are NOT more than two sexes. There are ONLY male and female sexes. No one can change their sex, no matter what an individual or society says or thinks. They are either male or female. That's it, over and done.

So, good-bye "Deputy" - I really wanted to continue watching this series, but Fox, et al., just ruined another good show.

Many people will drop watching this series now, but they won't comment here or anywhere that they will be dropping it. Even I have dropped other shows (name any Network) conveying these social lies, but have not commented on them before. I just quietly left, until now.

Shame on you Fox for your lies.

Ignore the transphobic comments

Warning: Spoilers
Seeing as the major complaint that other reviewers have is that a non-binary character exists says more about them than it does the episode. This may be shocking to some, but non-binary and intersex people do exist in the real world! This episode was really great, the coming out scene was beautiful and I especially liked the development of Cade and Teresa's family. The scene toward the end with Cade checking on the kids was really sweet.

What's with pushing today morality agenda!
joeholcor15 February 2020
First the department doesn't want to work with ICE in deporting illegals. Now Bishop is totally deranged and mentally indecisive with what gender he/she is??? And the Sheriffs wife believes there is more than two genders, that's really messed up and she can't help Bishop because she doesn't know which of the 1000+ genders Bishop is. The morality compass this show has is really declining. You can obviously see how California politics and beliefs has infiltrated this show. This show clearly has Hollywood's interference and influence that turned what would could have been a perfectly good show had it just stayed focused on the Sheriff and the department instead of fulfilling a leftwing agenda.
