I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've spoken to a few people that didn't enjoy the finale, I'm one of the few it seems that loved it. The penultimate episode was the best of the lot for me, but I did enjoy this. It was utterly over the top, and incredibly far fetched, but it's a tv series, not a documentary, I found it edge of the seat viewing, and for once had picked the miscreant.

Don't even try to begin making sense of it, it doesn't, just enjoy the drama.

Top notch acting from Armitage, Finneran and Dooley, they truly made it an exciting last episode.

I hope they leave it there, but it's been successful, so no doubt a second series will follow.

Impressive, 9/10.

Weird Finale

I enjoyed this series more than I thought I would. The plot lines are labyrinthine, and there's certainly plenty of surprises. The acting is excellent and each character is well crafted. But the ending, it just doesn't make sense. If Adam wasn't charged with murdering Tripp, who was? And with what gun-related evidence? How could Katz be charged? Wasn't his gun wiped clean? When did Katz find the time to return to where Corinne's body was buried and shoot Tripp? Wasn't he elsewhere at the time?

Good enough, interesting, mysterious and thrilling but big weird season finale.

The Stranger Season 1 Episode 8

Review : This episode is the last episode of this season. I would like to say this while reviewing this episode This episode is interesting enough, mysterious enough and thrilling enough but the story ends in a big weird way. As a spectator I was not expecting such an ending. I all understood why the police officer saved Adam, who killed whom and why and who was the real culprit. But in the midst of all this, my only question is, for what reason did The Stranger run away from everyone? Maybe the answer to this question will be found next season.

Acting : Every actor-actress has performed perfectly in this episode and throughout the season. I can say that every actor-actress has done enough justice to their character. Our eyes were filled with tears when we saw the bond that was in their performance.

Direction : Direction is a job on which all other work depends, acting, editing, everything. If you do your job well on the date then all the other work is done well. The director of this episode and the whole season has done a great job and he has done a great job with all the actors and actresses.

Story : If I were to tell the story now, I would have to say that the story of this episode is weird enough as it gets better. The reason I call this story weird is because the ending of this story is really weird. Maybe I didn't expect that from the writers as a viewer. I don't mean to say that this episode is not good at the end of the story, of course it is good enough. But I didn't like the way the writers did the end of the story. As a viewer I expected a slightly different kind of ending but it didn't ultimately happen.

Dialogue : Of the seven episodes in this whole season, I didn't say anything like that about dialogue. But I have to say the last episode and the whole season used good enough dialogue.Dialog writers have paid close attention to the use of dialogue and high quality dialogue has been used throughout this episode and throughout the season.

Background Score : I have to say about the background score and I will say it very confidently that very high quality and awesome background score has been used in this episode and throughout the season. In every scene of each episode, where the background score has been used, it fits very well.

Soundtrack : No soundtracks were used in this final episode and the rest of the season. But the title track that has been used is really awesome. At the beginning of each episode, when the title track sounded, I would turn up the volume on the spekar so that I could enjoy this wonderful title track loudly and well.

Vfx : VFX Not used, may have been used in some places but no use was noticed in most places. But the scenes in which vfx is used are quite remarkable and perfect.

Cinematography : Carrying a heavy camera on your shoulder or holding it in your hand or setting it according to the angle of the actors and actresses is not an easy task. The cinematographer of this episode has done such a hard job very well and perfectly. Every camera angle camera work, camera movement has been done in a remarkable way so that the episode looks extremely beautiful.

Editing : When the actors-actresses perform themselves, when the director finishes directing, when the cinematographer captures everything on camera, That is, the editor's work begins after everyone has finished all kinds of work. And we can see the finished work of the editor on our mobile screen or computer screen. So as a viewer of The Stranger web series I would like to thank the team of all the editors very much for giving us the opportunity to watch such an awesome episode and such an awesome season.

Lighting : Lighting is a department that is set all the time. Scenes cannot be seen clearly if the lighting is faulty, so the lighting work always has to be accurate and perfect. The lighting work of this episode and this whole season is good enough.

Overall Episode : The last extreme episode of a great season. I don't know if it will be Season 2 but if it is, then I am waiting for it. I look forward to witnessing again the extraordinary performances of all these people. I look forward to witnessing the extraordinary work of the director, cinematographer, editor, Vfx team, lighting crew. I look forward to hearing one more great story from the writers and some great blood warming dialogues from the dialogue writers. Judging by all the good and bad aspects and keeping in mind my personal likes, I gave the final episode of this interesting, mysterious and thrilling web series nine out of ten stars.



When I review episodes, that review is based entirely on my own personal ideas. Seeing the episodes of any season of any series, I think I write it in the review. I know, maybe in my reviews I often write something bad, like the writers didn't write the story well or the director didn't do well or the actors-actresses over-acted. But I don't use foul language or profanity in my reviews. If I unknowingly hurt someone in my review or if someone feels bad after reading my review, then I sincerely apologize to him.

WTF .... the ending ?????????

We got through 7 episodes which were pretty good to get THAT ENDING ...... SERIOUSLY?? I would have given the whole series an 8 at least but wih E8 ... nope. I wanted to recommend to friends but now .... wouldn't want them to waste their time. Is this how the book actually ended? So disappointed.

Way too many illogicals make the ending not enjoyable

Why would Katz grab the gun and go back to the house when Jo was hiding in the bathroom? The police already knew what he did, there's no point wasting time to kill her at that time. "He might want to hold her hostage to protect himself" Then why didn't he hold his wife hostage later when he literally got control of her? "Because she has the key to the car and now he can just run away" Then why didn't he run away earlier when he opened his car and got the gun which means he clearly had the key to his own car?

After that, why would Katz go to kill the blackmailers? His crime was already exposed, there's no point to keep working for his client anymore. At that moment, instead of Olivia and himself, his first priority was getting revenge?

The most ridiculous: when Adam was holding a gun towards Tripp, he somehow magically decided to take him to his dead wife and tell him how he killed her, in the middle of a forest where no one else is around. Oh, and clearly that's not enough, he's gonna further tell Adam that he's going to frame him if he talks to the police. He literally deceided to rule out every possible reason for Adam to not shoot him in the face.

And lastly, when Adam said he regreted that Tripp's crime could not be exposed, Jo replied that it couldn't because of the gun. What does that even mean? Tripp couldn't be exposed because Adam would have to testify what Tripp said to him, otherwise, like Tripp said, there's no reason to believe Tripp was more suspicious than Adam himself. And if he testified, it would make him suspicious of killing Tripp. The gun is such a crap reason. The time of murder was after Katz being arrested and after police found out the gun was missing, you couldn't frame Tripp's death on Katz anyway.

Ending was not plausible

One of those shows that you watch to follow all the threads to see how they tie up, but when you get to the end you think WTF.

Why would they make that decision? How could you get away with that?

I don't really get English mystery I guess. This one makes very little sense as far as human behavior goes.

Bad Cop gets away but he doesn't shoot good cop. PRICE CALLS THE GOOD COP'S PHONE AND TELLS the BAD COP, who has her phone, that PRICE has found ballcap girl.

So I suppose what we will have here is everyone descending on ballcap girls location.

Hahahaha. Price goes in and gets captured by BASEBALL CAP and BUTTERFLY TAT. Man I hope they KILL HIM so we can end some of the stupid walking around on this planet.

And then Bad Cop shows up!!! Excellent!!! Shoot!! Shoot! Oh did he shoot BUTTERFLY?? Okay good. Oh no Price is loose! He wrestles Bad Cop!! Oh no Bad Cop shoots BASEBALL CAP by accident trying to kill Price! Oh NO THEN THE COPS BUST IN!!!

Well the prediction came true. Everyone descended on Baseball Cap. Why do they let in Price to talk to Baseball Cap in the hospital? Surely she's going to be charged with a crime. ? No? She extorted. She caused a mess.

So wait.. Baseball Cap is Price's brother?

Price confronts his buddy and his buddy leads him to where Corinne is buried. Price at the end, he grows a pair and actually does something. The friend is ended. Price....should be in jail. Good Cop was closing in on the area and should have found Price standing there, now a murderer. So... +1 Star for Price growing pair and dispensing justice. -1 Star for Good Cop obviously not doing her job and letting Price go free after he just committed an unlawful killing.

Lots of illogic in this. Oh wow she even covered up the crime for Price. Okay I change my mind then, +1 Star for Good Cop because she's an EVIL CORRUPT COW. She has her reasons for protecting Price and the family.

But -1 Star because you don't score a goal and then run to the sideline and high five your dad. That was stupid stupid stupid. 4/10.

Season 2?

I feel like the finale left more questions than answers...as if preparing us for a second season.

• I get why Stranger ditched. Somewhere she's got enough cash to buy a beach bar. - I know how Katz's weapon is linked to all deaths...except Corrine's. I don't know who they blamed for Corrine's death. Tripp couldn't confess to Adam if Adam "found him" dead.

• Why was Johanna leaving her husband after 23 years?

Other than lingering questions, I really enjoyed this series.
