Monica Bellucci will star alongside “Call My Agent!” scene-stealer Nicolas Maury and Cesar-winner Alex Lutz (“Guy”) in “Ça C’est Paris”(This Is Paris), a workplace comedy set in the bawdy world of Parisian cabaret. Commissioned by France Television, the crowd-pleasing series comes courtesy of Mon Voisin Productions and director Marc Fitoussi, two of the key drivers behind international breakout “Call My Agent!.”
Federation Studios will field international offers out of Lille’s Series Mania, where the six-episode series was presented as part of the Coming Next From France showcase on Tuesday. Federation execs tell Variety the series has already sparked ample buyer attention.
The series follows the middle-aged scion to the Tout-Paris, a Cancan hotspot akin to the Moulin Rouge. While the wavering heir decides whether or not to make a clean break by selling his historic theater to a supermarket chain, “Ça C’est Paris” will also track...

Paris Hilton admitted it was tough for her parents Kathy and Richard Hilton to read her tell-all new book, Paris: The Memoir.
Hilton spoke out about things including suffering physical and psychological abuse during her time at Provo Canyon School — a Utah boarding school for troubled teens — in her 2020 documentary, “This Is Paris”.
She then dove further into some of the harder parts of her life in her memoir, with Andy Cohen questioning whether she was nervous about her parents reading certain bits.
Hilton said during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on Thursday: “So much of the book. I talk about things I’ve never told anyone. It was definitely really hard for my parents to read. It’s been very emotional.
“But I’m so, just proud to tell my story and to have made such a difference in the troubled teen industry.”

This week she released “Paris: The Memoir,” sharing what it was like for her growing up a Hilton — being sent away to programs for troubled teens but finding mental and physical abuse, a leaked sex tape, the crafting of a party girl image and high-pitched voice and co-starring in a reality show, “The Simple Life,” with Nicole Richie.
In 2020, Hilton released a YouTube documentary “This is Paris,″ addressing her experiences at the schools. “That was the first time that I really became vulnerable and real and shared my story and what I went through,” said Hilton.

Around bedtime at Paris Hilton's home, you won't hear any traditional lullabies. Instead, Hilton is crooning lyrics that dominated the airwaves back in 2006: "Let's see what this love can do / Maybe I'm perfect for you." And Hilton really is the perfect performer for her new audience: her infant son, Phoenix, whom she introduced to the world in January.
"His favorite lullaby is 'Stars Are Blind,' which I sing to him almost every single night," she tells Popsugar proudly during a March 13 interview, an anecdote she repeated that night during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
Phoenix is soaking up every minute with his mother, she says. Beaming, Hilton calls her son "so attentive and aware and so curious." She adds, "Ever since he was born, everyone's like, 'Oh, does he sleep all the time?' I'm like, 'Yes. But when he's up,...

Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, joyfully welcomed their son, Phoenix Barron, this past January. The news shocked fans because Hilton had kept the pregnancy under wraps. The hotel heiress said she didn’t even tell her mother, Kathy Hilton, and the rest of the family until a week after the baby’s birth. But because the Simple Life star had used a surrogate, hiding that she and Reum were expecting a child was easy.

Paris Hilton has finally revealed her baby's name, and it's one that's full of meaning for her. On Feb. 22, the 42-year-old DJ and heiress shared an Instagram post with her son's name - Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum - and wrote that the name "means so much to me" in the caption. In an episode of her "This Is Paris" podcast, released on the same day, Hilton shared more details about the significance of the name.
"I've been planning my children's names for years and years," she said. If she has a daughter, she added, she's always planned on choosing the name London. But a boy name took a bit longer for her to figure out, especially because she wanted to name her son after a place. "Over a decade ago, I thought of this amazing name . . . It's not only a city, but it also has other meanings that are just beautiful.

Hugh Hefner was revolutionary. Praised for his part in the sexual revolution of the 1960s, the Playboy founder was ahead of his time as an early proponent of gay rights, abortion and birth control. He was progressive with inclusion at his company when racism was rampant.
But, according to a new docuseries, Hefner was also a monster — one who would drug women, coerce them into sex, secretly record them in the bedroom and use his power and connections to blacklist and silence them into fear.
A&e’s 10-part “Secrets of Playboy,” which is airing Monday nights and had the network’s biggest premiere since Leah Remini’s Scientology series in 2016, re-examines Hefner and his Playboy Enterprises through the lens of 2022.

This time of year, love really is all around. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards revealed that her oldest daughter Farrah Brittany got engaged right before niece Paris Hilton's big day—and hid the news so all attention would stay on the bride! "She actually got engaged right before Paris' wedding but didn't want to say because it was Paris' big wedding," Kyle explained during the This Is Paris podcast on Dec. 7. "So she kept her ring turned around at the wedding because she was a bridesmaid. I had to keep it to myself. It was a lot." Paris tied the knot with Carter Reum on Nov. 11, followed...

Can you believe that it's been 15 years since Paris Hilton was photographed inside of a car with Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, forever cementing a moment in pop culture history that defined the early aughts? Well, neither can Paris. On the Dec. 3 episode of her This Is Paris podcast, the 40-year-old reality star was in awe at how much time has flown by since that fateful night out, saying, "It just blows my mind." The historic image, which was taken in 2006 outside of the Beverly Hills Hotel, showed the trio crammed in the front seat of Paris' car. At the time, Paris and Lindsay were in a complicated patch of their friendship—so a snapshot of the duo together with the Princess of Pop...

Last week, when Paris Hilton was set to begin a press tour for her new Netflix show, “Cooking With Paris,” the socialite-turned-businesswoman woke up to tabloid rumors that falsely reported she and her fiancé, venture capitalist Carter Reum, were expecting their first child.
Hilton’s response to the fake pregnancy news provides a glimpse into her ever-growing empire — and the brains behind her burgeoning businesses.
“I can’t wait to have children in 2022, but I am just preparing for the wedding right now,” Hilton clarified on her podcast, “This Is Paris,” which launched in February. “I’m shooting my new TV docu-series, capturing it all. It’s called ‘Paris in Love’ on Peacock,” she continued, expertly working in a mention of one of her two upcoming shows, though she has additional projects in development. She added, “You can’t always believe what you read. … You can come to the source,...

Last year, Paris Hilton appeared in the documentary “This Is Paris,” in which she made the argument that she isn’t the person we see on TV. Her somewhat vapid persona, she said, purposefully obscures her real self. Her new Netflix series, the lushly overproduced series “Cooking With Paris,” seems like a first attempt at testing that case, moving beyond Hilton explaining herself and deepening what she says is her game of image management.
I have no reason to disbelieve Hilton that when she is on-camera, exhibiting an incuriosity that’s breathtaking in its extremity, she’s putting on a performance. But does it matter? Paris Hilton may not actually float in a sea of assured entitlement, the way “Paris” does on Netflix. But she is, if nothing else, the one who thinks this act is funny, rather than bone-tired.

When Paris Hilton woke up on Tuesday morning, she was ready to dive into a full day of press for her new Netflix series, “Cooking With Paris.” She was not, however, planning to field questions about the pregnancy rumors that had spread online, after a tabloid report was published, stating that the socialite-turned-businesswoman is expecting her first child, which Hilton says is not true.
Although Hilton is used to rumors being spread about her, she tells Variety that the false report, which spread like wildfire across international outlets and on social media, highlights the mistreatment of women in media.
Shortly after the rumors began circulating on Tuesday, Hilton went on her podcast to deny the report, originally published in Page Six. Later, the gossip site edited their headline to rephrase that Hilton is “allegedly” pregnant, according to a “source.”

Paris Hilton confirmed that she's the only heiress in her life. After more than two decades in the spotlight, the "Love is Blind" singer is used to unfounded rumors circulating about her personal life. This time, however, when a report claimed she and fiancé Carter Reum were expecting a baby, she addressed it head-on. On a July 27 installment of her podcast, This is Paris, she denied being pregnant with her first little one. "I also woke up to about 3,000 texts," Paris said. "All my iPhones are blowing up. All 5 of them. Everyone wishing me 'congratulations' and 'so happy for me' and yes, I've heard from people I haven't heard from in years....

Netflix released the first trailer for Paris Hilton’s upcoming “cooking” show (scare quotes theirs) on Tuesday, giving the heiress the chance to demonstrate her kitchen prowess ahead of the show’s August premiere.
Set to premiere on Aug. 4, the six-episode “Cooking With Paris” follows Paris and her celebrity guests as they go “from the grocery store to the finished table spread.” The show is inspired by Hilton’s viral lasagna video from last year, which has since accumulated more than five million views.
Hilton, importantly, is not a trained chef, and as such is apparently unfamiliar with concepts like zesting lemons and the word “tongs.” But fear not, “With the help of her celebrity friends, she navigates new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances,” Netflix says.
Guests for the first season include Kim Kardashian West, Nikki Glaser, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, Lele Pons, Kathy Hilton, Nicky Hilton and one aggressively manhandled chicken carcass.

Paris Hilton has lined up a cooking show at Netflix inspired by her viral lasagna video from last year, the streamer announced Monday.
The six-episode series, titled “Cooking With Paris,” promises to “turn the traditional cooking show upside down,” according to Netflix’s description. “She’s not a trained chef and she’s not trying to be. With the help of her celebrity friends, she navigates new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. Inspired by her viral YouTube video, Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished table spread – and she might actually learn her way around the kitchen.”
The show bears the same name as the video uploaded to Hilton’s YouTube channel in which the heiress demonstrated how to cook lasagna. The 16-minute clip went viral early last year and has since accumulated more than 5 million views.

Paris Hilton is cooking up a new project: a new series with Netflix, “Cooking With Paris,” Variety has exclusively learned.
The amateur cooking show will feature the hotel heiress and business mogul learning her way around the kitchen with the help of her famous friends. The series will take a spin on the traditional cooking show, as Hilton is not a trained chef and doesn’t really know how to cook — but she certainly knows how to entertain viewers at home.
“Cooking With Paris” will launch globally on the streaming giant on Aug. 4 with six half-hour episodes.
In the series, Hilton will invite her celebrity friends into her kitchen, as she navigates new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. In each episode, Schumer learns a new skill, craft, or trade from a local expert in her husband’s hometown on Martha’s Vineyard. She will learn to dive for clams, sell real estate, perform a magic trick and (sort of) repair a roof.
It comes after her three-part docuseries Expecting Amy launched on the WarnerMedia streamer last July.
The series is produced by Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (Ipc), which produces HBO Max’s Selena + Chef and YouTube’s This Is Paris documentary. Ipc’s Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman will serve as exec producers.

In Paris Hilton’s “This Is Paris,” the hotel heiress and entrepreneur says her work ethic is driven by money. She says she won’t slow down until she makes one billion dollars.
The doc, available on YouTube, was shot two years ago. Now, at age 40, Hilton tells me she truly feels that money isn’t everything.
“It was such a goal of mine before because I wasn’t happy in my personal life,” Hilton says on Tuesday’s episode of the “Just for Variety” podcast. “And also just going through what I went through, I always saw money as freedom and independence, and not being controlled. And I think that’s why I just had that as my focus in life. And now that I am so incredibly happy and in love in my personal life I’m not really interested in billions anymore. I’m more interested in babies.

For the famous women at the heart of some of the year’s most compelling documentaries, there are no secrets. They reveal intimate details of past trauma and personal struggles with startling transparency.

Revelations from Lovato cascade throughout the four-part YouTube Originals series: dealing with bulimia and other eating disorders, mental health issues, her evolving sense of her sexuality, and, shockingly, being raped by her drug dealer.
“The hardest thing to talk about for me was the sexual assault. That was something that I had never shared with the world before,” Lovato says. “The world knew that I had overdosed—they didn’t know on what… But when it came to the third episode,...

It's hard to think of a more 2000s photo than Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan squished together in the front seat of a car after a night out. During the March 11 episode of her This Is Paris podcast, Paris revealed that the picture tells a completely different story from what actually happened.
"That was a night that Britney and I went out, and we were at the Beverly Hills Hotel, at our friend's party, and we decided to leave to go home," Paris said. "We were walking to the car and all of as suddenly got swarmed by a tons of paparazzi. Just as we got to the car, that's when Lindsay came up. It was kind of awkward because we were having some drama." The drama? There was a video circulating of Lindsay where she claimed Paris had spilled a drink on and hit her at a party.
