A delicate explosion

Ganef is a thing of wonder, a jewel of a short that compresses generational trauma into unforgettable moments of memory, love, and ambiguity.

an age

The first virtue - the high delicacy of exploration of an unique age, from its game, trust, perception of small gestures of the other, refuges and forgivness and feeling of traitor.

The second virtue - the house and, especially, the furniture.

Short, just a profound beautiful short film about childhood, a house cleanner, gestures of adult like child ones and the cold judgement of a little girl. The details - from menorah to the father near his daughter are, in same measure, precious pieces.

Ganef explores with great sensitivity the concept of inherited trauma. A beautifully crafted Short with exquisite performances by the cast. A real gem!
