-At the beginning of the 1981 season, the program 'Le point' was broadcast on Radio-Canada. It was an information magazine about Quebec, Canadian and international news. Over the years, the formula has undergone several transformations and several reports and interviews have made history. At the beginning, 'Le point' was presented weekly, on Tuesdays at 9:30 pm, for a duration of 60 minutes. The program did not have a specific host. But in 1983, 'Le point' became a daily program. The new hosts Denise Bombardier and Simon Durivage presented the concept of the new 'Le Point' to the viewers during the opening show of September 12, 1983.
