Maggie Cole knows all about village life, and the history of her small village, she is ecstatic when she is asked to go on local radio, and recount her thoughts on where she lives and her community, unfortunately the journalist is after something a little more dramatic.
It had a Doc Martin vibe, it's very light and easy to watch, it has a heavenly setting, and a great cast. Wonderful ensemble on display here, French and Heap are excellent, but aren't playing for laughs, indeed Maggie seems to have caused some real damage.
Vicki Pepperdine is hilarious as Karen, the receptionist who's ever so in love with the Headmaster.
Not sure how this one is going to play out, drama, comedy drama etc, but I enjoyed it, and will continue with it, 7/10.
