The new CBS day-time drama "The Young and The Restless" premiered in the Spring 1973, with scenery designed by Tom Trimble and the sets decorated by Dick (Richard) Harvey. The drama was video taped on one stage, daily, at the CBS TV Beverly & Fairfax Studio. Trimble and Harvey won the Day Time Emmy Art Direction Award for the submitted show. Their award was one of the first times a day time drama won this award in the history of the day time Emmy category. When Tom moved onto another TV show, Jack Stewart became Art Director with George Beckett as his assistant. Bill Hulstrom became Art Director, moving up in his position as the Assistant Art Director when Jack Stewart changed jobs to Art Direct the new CBS soap "Capitol".
