- Factual errors: When Greer is talking with the colonel in charge of the surrogate soldier program, the colonel's right shoulder shows a Ranger qualification tab. This tab should actually be on his left shoulder.

- Plot holes: SPOILER: At the film's climax, Greer "buffers" all the surrogate users to isolate them from their surrogates and thus make them safe from the OD virus. However, as Greer deliberates over whether to save the surrogates as well, and afterward, there's a series of shots showing hundreds of surrogates walking around and going about their daily basis, even though they should all be frozen in place after Greer disconnected them from their users.
- Plot holes: SPOILER: At the end, when all the surrogates are infected by the virus, they simply fall over as if switched off. Previously, surrogates infected by the virus convulsed violently and their eyes exploded as they 'died'.
