Yes. The trailer was the most popular of all of the Grindhouse fake trailers and drew a mass following of Robert Rodriguez fanboys. Rodriguez was so inspired by this that he took the original script he wrote in 1993 and decided to adapt it into a feature film. He has stated in interviews that about 99% of the footage from the fake trailer will be used in the feature film and the story line will not change but be added on to, so new characters (Seagal, Alba, DeNiro, and Lohan) could be involved.
It is possible that Lindsay Lohan who portrays the role of April could show herself, because of her frequent films that have her showing half of her body. There is a strong possibility that Jessica Alba, who plays Sartana, will not show herself.
