- Titus, desperate for business, sells Erin's car and buys a funny car for drag races. Erin, desperate for money, gets a waitress job at a strip club. Ken, desperate to be able to go to the strip club without seeing Erin, finances Titus.
- Christopher sells Erin's car without telling her, to buy a drag racing funny car to revive his dead car shop. Erin is super angry. She barges into the shop with a wrench while Dave and Titus lock themselves into the office. Titus comes out to talk to Erin when she keeps the wrench aside. Titus presents the drag car as the explanation for his decision. Titus says that he wants to get into the drag racing business. The drag car is a hunk of junk that Titus plans to fix up and make money off drag racing. Erin is angry that Titus did not include her in this big financial decision of their lives.
Titus offers to drive Erin to work, but she won't go with him. She says that Titus doesn't have the address and becomes increasingly incoherent after that. Titus knows that Erin wobbles verbally when she is lying. This is when Tommy comes in and Erin and Tommy have an awkward experience when they both cannot look into each other's eyes. Even Tommy says that Titus cannot drive Erin to work, and that she should walk. Titus learns from Tommy that Erin has been working as a strip club waitress to support herself and Titus following the closing of Titus's business. Tommy was a customer and saw Erin at work. Erin says she is just being a waitress and nothing more, but Titus is angry since in strip bars, guys see all girls as naked. Titus imagines Erin as working the pole and is disgusted. Erin argues that she is just serving drinks at the place. Titus says that guys feel that they have to pay for the girls on the poles, but they can get the waitresses for free. Not Titus says that they are a team and Erin should have consulted Titus on such a big decision.
Ken comes into the shop, and we all find that he has been a customer at the strip club as well. Tommy is also not able to see Ken in the eye as
Ken offers Titus money, so that Erin doesn't have to work at the strip club (he doesn't want to check every waitress's face before pinching their behind). Ken offers $5000 and Titus accepts, but Erin won't quit work. Titus cannot understand why Erin cannot leave a job that is humiliating and demeaning. Erin says she only works there since Titus can't support both. Titus is heart broken. Erin says that Titus always has big dreams, but he doesn't always have a plan to achieve them. Titus says his plan is to fix the drag racer, with an awesome paint job from Dave. They will ride the drag car and get their reputation back, and hopefully drum up some business. Erin is convinced with the plan but cannot understand why Titus could not discuss with her upfront. They both agree but start yelling at each other as they are passionate about this. Erin and Titus make up. Titus puts Erin in the drag car and fires up the engine, destroying all the glass panels of the shop in the process.
