When boss Max Showalter brings his nephew (Steve Alterman) to Los Angeles to get over a breakup, he develops a crush on Susan (Stockard Channing) and somehow believes that she wants to break up with "boyfriend" (Ron Silver) to marry him. This silly plot is one of the weakest of the series even if the cast is energetic and fun. There's obviously an easy way out of the plot that goes back to early TV with "I Love Lucy". Stockard is very funny in her French woman's disguise complete with outrageous accent. Alterman is amusing as the big eyed 15 year old even though he seems a few years older.
