Trivia:

After extensive re-editing and re-shooting by the producers, writer/director Ti West requested to have his name removed from the film and replaced with the popular pseudonym Alan Smithee. Since he was not a member of the DGA his request was denied by the producers and he remains credited as the film's director. West has since disowned the final product claiming that it is more a product of the producers and executives than that of his own. It is unknown if there will ever be a "directors cut" released featuring West's original vision.

This flick rocks! I mean, in a OMG-I-can't-believe-they-did-that kind of way!!! I so thought it was gonna suck, you know, how the second film always kinda sucks, but it didn't! Now, it's not a light flick. It's a horror flick, so you should expect some surprising twists ... things you've not ever seen before! And I didn't really see the entire first one, but it doesn't matter ... you don't even really need to have seen it for the story or anything. Rider Strong was really good and there were some really great lines from a couple of the other characters, too. It was so good and crazy and just wait 'til you see the ending! Don't miss this movie!!!
