- Now Ari acts all neurotic, having lost Vince as client, his wife drags him to yet another therapist, where he denies caring for any client. Ari's wife says that he is missing meals, getting depressed, sleeping past 7 am, & not going to Lakers games (as he might run into Vince again).
The boys realize they can't really say no to Amanda just because she's too hot. She has demanded face time with E & Vince at her office, to get an answer to the "Glimpses" script. Vince wants to stall till the cameras roll on Medellin. But he cant say anything to Amanda on her face & says he want to read the Glimpses script again. E says that Vince got bullied into making a decision that he didn't want to make. The boys read it again & don't like it at all. They also figure that Vince liked it because Amanda liked it, & E liked it because Vince liked it. They both hated it. Vince tells E to relay the decision to Amanda. Amanda gets really angry with Vince and demands to have a sit-down dinner with both E and Vince. E knows that he was being soft on Amanda, and it would have been much simpler to deal with Ari in a similar situation.
Amanda has dinner with E & Vince, where E tells Amanda that they don't like the script. They cant picture Vince on a horse with a British accent. Amanda says Vince is back-tracking only because Ari entered the picture with his Medellin offer, which she insists is not real. Vince also says that the only reason he said yes was because Amanda believed in it so much. Vince says that he finds Amanda cute. Amanda offers a solution, inviting Vince for a sex session to get the sexual tension out of the way. Vince accepts.
After Ari admits being unable to fire blinded employee Rob Rubino, something he normally enjoys sadistically, his therapist recharges his mental energy. Rob is booking a $100,000 a quarter but costing $150,000. Barbara wants him out. But Ari cant fire Rob as he just had eye surgery & is recently divorced. Rob is miserable and Ari cant bring himself to kick a man when he is down. Barbara alleges that Ari has become soft and weak. He is not himself.
Ari realizes he is missing Vince badly. He goes for an emergency session with the therapist but comes back even angrier. The doctor has Monday after noon's off, so Ari pays the receptionist $5000 to find out where she is. Ari tracks the therapist to the golf course. Ari tells that he is missing Vince and this is impacting his work. He couldn't let Lloyd have sex with a client to earn millions of dollars. Today, he couldn't fire a co-worker because his wife left him. The therapist says this is progress that Ari felt compassion. Ari decides to give himself some shock therapy. He fires Rob as soon as he gets back to the office.
