- Gideon matches wits against the most prolific serial killer ever found, and the results are surprising.
- In Golconda, a desert nowhere in Nevada, the team questions erudite Frank, a presumed, extremely prolific serial killer since 30 years who always takes a right rib as part of elaborate abuse before the murder, using the rape drug ketamine. He is assumed to have another victim alive hidden, missing Katherine Hale. He seems somehow to find his preys, apparently without common characteristics, along an Interstate road, often passing trough Golconda, but why and traveling unnoticed how? Survivor Crazy Jane is found, presumably the only one, but she believes to have been abducted by aliens. Frank is released for lack of proof and acts daringly...—KGF Vissers
- At a diner in Golconda, Nevada, Gideon and Morgan are interviewing a man named Frank, who they know to be a serial killer, perhaps the most prolific ever. His supposed crimes span thirty years. He disables his victims through drugging. While his victims are still alive, he cuts off their limbs and removes a right rib bone. His sexual gratification comes from seeing the fear in his victims eyes as he is doing all of this. The bodies are eventually dumped in remote locations. While Gideon negotiates with Frank, the BAU are still looking for one possible victim hopefully alive. But Frank vows that he will get up and walk away from the diner without being in custody and without incident to himself. To stop Frank from carrying out his prediction, the BAU have to figure out what special significance Golconda holds for him. All they know is that it has something to do with a mentally disturbed woman name Jane.—Huggo
