This episode left me surprisingly happy and that is not because the case blew me away. The "whodunitism" of this episode is really not very high, however I feel that it is focusing on the actual characters (mostly Morgan, but with many interesting dialogues or statements of the other characters) and how they are dealing with a situation that puts their faith into each other to the test.
I love how the geekiness of Reid is depicted in the very beginning and in the same scene I am finally okay with Emily Prentiss being on the team.
I very much like the background information that is given on Derek, even though it might be a little much of the "hard on the outside, soft on the inside"-cliché, but then again - I am a sucker for clichés.
The end of this episode is leaving me very satisfied because I am always hoping to get to know the characters better through their actions. If you are however searching for something that will blow your mind away because of the brutality or action, maybe this should not be your first pick.
Favorite quote of the episode: "C'mon Hotch, we all have secrets."
