Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Revealing clothing by some of the characters.

Violence & Gore

The virus that the main characters are trying to find a cure for has very disturbing effects, such as constant bleeding, wounds all over the body, etc.

In one scene that would also go in Frightening/Intense, a doctor gets shut in a room and injects the virus into himself. He slowly and painfully dies, with quite a bit of blood and burnt flesh.

The violence is more intense/bloody than the other 2 Death Note films.

Profanity

In the dub version, a few f-bombs are dropped by the terrorists. In the sub version, the words "kuso" (sh*t/cr*p) and "baka" (dumb*ss, idiot) are each used several times.

None.

Many, but nothing you wouldn't see on an episode of CSI (except for the scene described in Violence/Gore). Bioterrorism, murder, and hostage situations are all spoken about and usually acted upon. The fact that the character L only has 23 days to live, and the "__ days left" subtitle at the beginning of some scenes, could disturb some.
